Rent being the only thing they cared about once again.

I've lived here for 5 years. My last apartment flooded so bad anytime any type of moisture was in the air. The Falls never did anything about it. Oh my bad they sent a carpet cleaner one time who did one pass of the floor and was done before I was done brushing my teeth. You then leave because you can't live there without being sick or smelling mildew anytime you do anything. And they decide two years later to send it to collections. Don't live here.

all my doors look like this
Miranda L.

it finally stopped letting edit my original one bit my celling stared leaking the other day and all maintenance did was tell us its rain water. the water coming out smells like bleach 60% of the time and is so yellow its turns brown in a puddle. i added a video of it at the end. oh amd tgere are 3 boys who live with thier grandma who are going around and marking 1st floor apts to rob and managment knows that just dont care even after changing managment comanies oit of no where while the lobby is still under construction for the pipes bursting back in December or November. again STAY SAFE AND STAY AWAY FROM THE FALLS.

I guess spray paint does fix a water leak. Or, maybe if you ignore an issue long enough the tenant will forget about it. The staff there was not always the most friendly, either. Almost condescending at times. Look, I am not one of the other residents who need special assistance with living arrangements. If you are a young single person looking for a reasonable place to live, move along. This is a group home and a geriatric ward. While legally they should not tell you this, it would have been nice to know. Now, the kids that live there are nice and fairly quiet. But, there was always that lingering thought in the back of my head that I would come home to a burned out shell of a building because one of them burned up a pizza in the oven...I guess that is part of apartment living. Part of me wants to throttle At Home Apartments for their lack of attention to maintenance and overall customer service. But, one of the individuals who I think was mostly responsible for the lack of service was let go...And, from the recent check out review received, I see he did not take good notes on our check-in back in April 2010. Just think twice before deciding the sign a lease with these folks. And from what I have been told by people who have lived in their other properties, Mission Hills was the nicest. I find that comical. Happy moving.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a stunning lobby with modern decor and impeccable attention to detail. As well as the kindest leasing agent Chloe! The apartment itself is nothing short of spectacular. The layout is spacious and well-designed, with high-end finishes and top-of-the-line appliances. The windows and Modern blinds are amazing! This apartment offers cute views of downtown Mission KS, and the balcony provided the perfect spot to enjoy a glass of wine or coffee!!! The amenities at the complex are equally impressive. The state-of-the-art fitness center has everything I needed for a great workout, and I cannot wait for the terrace pool, hot tub, and hangout center to be complete. I have seen lots of progress since I moved in and the construction is taken very seriously and is moving along quick! Overall, my experience at this luxury apartment complex is amazing. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a five-star living experience. I can't wait to enjoy the yoga room, cardio room, pool, terrace, grills, hot tub, and dog wash station for my pups!!!! This apartment is super dog friendly which I greatly appreciate as well! Such a nice dog park with dog poop bag stations all around the complex! Love love love living here!!!

Attentive management, since the staff are friendly, accessible, and everthing is fixed within 1 day; 3. Plenty of studios covering BPU bills, as one of the cheapest options near campus if you want privacy; 4. My deposit was fully returned after staying for 3 yrs while I didn't try hard to maintain or clean the place, though I didn't have pets; 5. They are very strict about leasing and subleasing, which makes the tenants more reliable. Cons: 1. Out-dated facilities, especially considering the price; 2. Noisy fridge, A/C, lawn mower in the morning, and the sound of neighbors, which was acceptable to me; 3. Open parking lots getting crowded if arriving after 10pm, and scratches happen; 4. The neighborhood is not the safest, and the rent keeps raising, though I think it happens to almost all the properties around KU Med campus; 5. Very limited shared ammenites. Overall I recommend it to students and staffs who want a convenient and care-free place to stay, but not to people having kids, sensitive to noise, or looking for an elegant lifestyle.

Updating! This is from Apartment Ratings dot com. Its an…read morehonest review from me. I had some better experiences after my last post. I moved out last month. Okay I have been vocal in comments both positive and negatively on this site. Like most things in life Boulevard has its high points and its bruises. Lets go through the most common issues I see on Apartment Ratings: SAFETY: Someone who did not live here shot someone who did not live here. In nearly 2 years that is the ONLY violent crime that I have heard about in the complex. There have been some domestic issues but those happen everywhere. The Boulevard is as safe as any apartment complex my friends live in. BUGS: For the first 18 months, I didnt have bug troubles but my apt is starting to wear and they are coming out of the walls from time to time. Mostly aints. I do need my floor in my bathroom and Kitchen redone because they are still the old design and starting to pull away from the finishing. I did tell the management about this and it was never changed. NOISE: I live in a lower level apartment and don't hardly ever hear my neighbors. Never have in the 2 years I have lived here. SECTION 8: I continue to search to find where people are seeing this is Section 8. I have yet to find this. Someone link me proof? PARKING: I have nearly no problem with parking. I have an active night life and come home after 1am or later many times and find close enough parking. Remember people you can actually rent a reserved spot or rent a house. THIS IS A COMMON APARTMENT ISSUE. I used to go visit a friend in OP and had to park across the street from her complex due to lack of parking. Its never that bad at the Boulevard. OFFICE STAFF: From my dealings with Heather She gets a low A. We got off to a slow start but got to an agreeable resolution on a major issue I had. Honestly the office has turned over so many people but most are nice, except Erica but she's been there the whole time and was never very nice. Maintenance: Under one of the old regimes, the apt complex didnt have a maintenance team, they all quit or were fired. It seems they are back and it seems things are getting done. There used to be a place on the website to place Maintenance orders but they did away with that. Maintenance does try to cut corners but just stay on them. Grounds: They need work. Lots of work. People don't clean up after their animals. People leave trash all over. There has been a landscaping mess on one of the sidewalks that has been solid mud for over a year. This does make the complex look run down. WHEN I MOVED OUT, Heather took GOOD care of us and we were not charged any fees. I appreciate the easy move out and will tenatively recommend people to this place, telling them what I put here. Last I heard the rent was closer to 770 and you can do much better than that up on I35/Lamar at any of those complexes. People who post anonymously are cowards and trolls. If you are that unhappy, post who you are so they can try to help. If they don't help, post that too because then you are going to hear from Nolan.
