Upon hearing the soup of the day was tomato and they recently added an adult grilled cheese to the menu, I was SOLD! Talk about a nostalgic comfort meal in a setting where everyone treats you like family. The grilled cheese was wonderful. I know it's a simple sandwich, but the added parmesan cheese to really crisp up the bread, did it for me! I don't live in the area, but if I ever find my way back to La Junta, I'll certainly make sure to pop in for a comforting meal in a warm setting! Beautiful service!
