I called in The Face Doctor while in the Trafford Centre mainly to take a look around with my friend, as this is a brand I've never heard of before and I was also confused with the name which ended in "Alderley Edge", I later found out this was due to where the store was founded and have their other branch, with this one being their second store and the latest to open.
The store is quite small and mainly does do treatments for facial things, as I'm nowhere near an expert I can't comment or describe further in this department.
Most of the prices were really high, costing hundreds of pounds just for a milileter, inside the store was small and wasn't that nice either, it just felt too high end and in a way it felt overpriced, as it felt like something which shouldn't be a standalone store but a stand at a Department store, this is quite interesting as there are many department stores in the Trafford Centre including John Lewis which is near enough next store and others including Selfridges and Debenhams.
The woman who was working didn't seem too friendly, she didn't seem to be doing anywork, she just sat there, she wasn't greeting customers or even getting out of her chair to help, which are characteristics of good customer service you would associate with a high end brand, which this place sadly doesn't have which is the main reason, while considering other points above that I feel this store deserves a single one star. read more
