I had never been to an optometrist before I discovered Sango Eye Care. From the time I walked in…read morethe door, I felt comfortable and at ease. Everyone was very professional and very kind. I make the drive from Nashville without hesitation as I know I can trust the direction and professionalism of the staff here. Whether I am being fitted for new glasses or checking out the latest selection of sunglasses, you can clearly see why this place is number one for eye care. Thanks for your continued kindness and Superior Customer Service!

Came in for my annual eye exam to renew my prescription for my contacts…read more The facility was very clean, spacious and stocked with a variety of glasses brands to choose from. The examination rooms and equipment were clean and the staff was very welcoming. It was easy to schedule an appointment and I like how many options there were regarding my contacts. They had a machine that takes a photo of the interior of your eyes that was not covered through insurance that I opted out of but was asked to do as a precaution. So after paying the extra $40 for the exam it turned out everything was alright. Overall, the staff was nice, the facility was clean, and there were a lot of glasses on display. I would highly recommend coming if you need an exam done. Be aware they're going to offer the additional $40 exam that is not covered through insurance.

Went in for my annual eye exam. My son also uses this provider for his eye care. Very professional…read morestaff, and I was very pleased with the experience. While some professionals will try to upsell you new frames with your new prescription, these folks agreed to use my current sunglasses frames and upgrade the lenses. I am getting new frames and lenses for my day-to-day eyewear. And keeping the old as a spare. Also, I am used to other less than professional organizations trying to sell you a higher priced frame to get bang for their buck. Not Northfield. I very clearly stated I was not interested in fancy frames and they respected that. They showed me modest cost frames and I was able to choose what I wanted very fast . They fitted me appropriately and now I wait two weeks to get my new glasses. I can't say enough about the positive overall experience that I received here. I will be back annually for all my eyecare needs here.

Dr. Jackson confirmed the infected eyelid, prescribed antibiotics and drops, and explained how to care for the problem. Upon exiting, I spoke with Holly Clark, who filed my insurance claim. Having been a patient of this office, as well as with Dr. Bart Lynn's office, Sango Eye Care, I know our family is in great hands with these professionals. Suppose a person is searching for a new eye professional, whether new to contacts or glasses. In that case, this review will confirm that the team is experienced, listens carefully, and provides suggestions on how to wear contacts or glasses, or offers a referral for those needing cataract surgery. What a great team!

This is where I have been going for my eye exams for most of the last ten years (minus the one year…read moreI was told I had to go elsewhere due to my insurance). Although the eye doctors here have a high turnover rate, it hasn't affected the quality of care I receive. I feel confident that the three doctors who I saw most regularly cared for my eye health and still feel good that they all knew what they were doing. I have seen more than three due to appointments and such, but I always ask to be seen by the same as my last appointment (when possible). The office itself is very clean and well kept. Over the years, they have renovated and expanded. So, as of 2017, the interior is practically brand new and very inviting and comfortable. Today, I appreciated all the patience and help from the techs, front desk, and doctor since I had my one-year old with me. He was so good, but they all helped also. Minimal waiting and pleasant attitudes! If you have to wait for your appointment (like I had to once due to going in on a heavy walk-in day), the waiting area has very nice upholstered chairs and benches. The optical store is also open, so you can look at (and try on) eyeglasses. That's always fun! I usually end up buying my glasses elsewhere because I have expensive tastes in frames and a very high index lenses, but I can figure out my style and size here. Sometimes, I just get contact lenses! Last few years, I've been getting new (updated) lenses in my old (favorite) designer frames. These Prada frames are 12 years old, but still sell for over $300 in a different color! Well, if you're looking for an optometrist or optician, check out this place. Or, if you just want to try on their latest frames, go inside. It's nice and almost never crowded. The only thing that could be an issue is parking. It's a small lot for one business and there is another office next door. So, look left for more parking spaces as you enter their business parking. That is why I didn't give 5 stars. Parking. Plus, their eyeglass prices and just out of my price range. Maybe I'm too old school, but I end up ordering online. (Message me, if you're curious about that.)

Recently the deceptive practices in the Clarksville location have me frustrated with not providing full disclosure of costs and what's covered under the insurance to where I've ended up paying for prescriptions for both glasses and contacts when only one is needed to fulfill the insurance obligations. I've purchased the insurance to cover lost or stolen glasses only to discover it doesn't cover lost or stolen! You have to bring something back to utilize the additional insurance purchased. *update: in fine print at the bottom it says doesn't cover lost or stolen:
