Had the experience to get glasses at LensCrafters. I went to American Best to get my eye exam. Because they always have same day opening. But theirs glasses are not cute. And fall under the old fashion but affordable spectrum. Staff got mad because we didn't want to purchase their frames. We decline the frame nicely and professionally. But, the face and tone staff made was unprofessional. So, I went to LensCrafters to possibly find lenses. I met Santana H, gave her my husband, and I prescription. She directed us with excellent customer service. Her knowledge of the lenses and other options was spectacular. I never had so much fun picking out lenses. And I have never been more educated. Let say never judge a book by its cover. She is great. I look forward to coming back and purchasing more frames from LensCrafters because of the experience I had today. read more

I made an appointment online and was able to get in the same day. The examination office is located inside the eyeglass store. The store is located inside the Governor's Square mall. There were several young girls working at the front counter checking people in and out. They were all very chatty and friendly. A young girl did three different eye tests on three different machines. After she was done she took me to the eye examining room to see the doctor. I had to wait there for ten minutes. I could hear all those young girls talking and laughing the entire time. Must be a fun place to work. Dr Patel did my eye exam. She was very thorough and recommended I have a wellness eye exam that would show the layers of my eyes. This was kind of an emergency visit for me because I had developed a problem with my eye while traveling. She was able to tell me exactly what was going on with that wellness test. One of the best places for an eye exam in Clarksville. $99 plus another $30 for the wellness exam. read more

I would say don't use Lens Crafter. I order a year supply and a month just for extra contacts. When I had them delivered to this Lens Crafter from contacts direct. My box was open. It is a federal crime to open someone else mail. I asked the girl why did she open my box. She stated some lie that I didn't feel like was correct at all. So, be careful when you use them. They open your mail that's addressed to you like it's there's. That's the review and that's all. They are horrible. read more

I got to the exam and then young lady instructed me I would have to wait for the doctor to go to lunch, I need to tell you that I got there at 11:15 and the time was 1153, they opened at 11, how in the hell do you tell your patient to wait for the doctors lunch break after only being there a hour, they could have seen me at 2 if I liked, I was out!!!! Purchased a pair of glasses from here and it took over 3 weeks. Would have probably taken longer but I cancelled my order. Every time I would call, they would give me a new pick up date-a week later- and said they had no more information to give me other than that they were in "finishing". No glasses take that long to make. Even a manager couldn't tell me anything or why they took so long. read more

After awful treatment and being turned away for an appointment I made at Visionworks, I was desperate to get an eye exam ASAP! I walked down to LenCrafters where the staff was no only kind about my situation but they were able to verify my insurance. If you want a back story, go ahead and head over to the Visionworks Yelp. The staff at this LenCrafters was awesome. They were able to schedule me an appointment fast and then once I did go in Dr. Patel was incredibly knowledgeable regarding my "lazy eye". The insurance part of this business does not know how to file the insurance correctly. Then they keep saying the filed it correctly, even after I tell them what the insurance company told me. Such a headache I will find a new eye doctor. read more

I visited the office in Franklin,TN. Once finding them in the mall the visit was top notch. Great staff, very thorough exam and tests completed. They accepted my insurance so the entire cost of the visit was $25 including special tests. Very impressed and will return next year and recommend to friends. The only reason I did not give them 5 starts is the difficulty finding them in the mall. If they start giving new clients instructions for finding them I would increase my rating. read more

I am shocked by the aweful customer service at this location!!!!! I do not live close by and I drove out 3 times to order my glasses! The lady did not seem to know how to appply my insurance. And then blamed the computer every time. Today when I came in they were busy so I waited a long time- then the lady asked me what I needed (while still helping another customer) I reminded her I was the same girl who had to come in three times - I asked if I could just order them online and she very rudley said " I don't know if u can order online" I said really? I bought a pair of $400 glasses from here a year ago and I take excellent care of them. Today the seal, coating or whatever they put on the lenses peeled off right in my field of vision. I called them and there's nothing they can do. Instead of wasting your time and money at this place, do what my husband did and buy a pair from Zenni Optical. His glasses are much better quality and he only spent $30!!!! Lens Crafters is an absolute rip off. You'd think for a $400 pair of glasses they'd stand behind their product. No, they don't. Yes, they aren't cheap - but you get what you pay for. I need glasses all the time, and depend on LensCrafters as I have for years. I first went to them because they were available in one hour. Now my script has progressed beyond what they have in stock, so I have to wait for mail order, but I have never been disappointed. They are willing to work with you and suit your style, and they always have coupons and specials. If they don't have a sale going on, sign up online for a discount. There is always something. I've been to discount places just to save money, but the glasses feel cheap, flimsy or fragile. I have never had a pair of glasses scratch, or break with LensCrafters. I also love the digital fit technology that they use. This ensures a perfect fit. Also - relating to price, when I when to a provider "in network" with my vision insurance, I paid just as much if not more anyway. I ended up dropping vision coverage so I could stay with LensCrafters. It's way more convenient and actually worked out to be cheaper. read more

The staff helping me look for glasses was nice and professional and made the experience painless. They delivered my glasses several days ahead of schedule. I've been going to this LensCrafters for eye exams for almost 20 yrs. The office personnel called me two days in a row to verify that I would be at my appt. while I was talking to them they wanted to verify my insurance... I don't have eye insurance; I've always paid out of pocket I guess that isn't the way things are done now. Does cash not work anymore? She didn't want my business. I would not use them go somewhere else. My glasses were in the store and they had to send them back. I was told they have not come in yet, and it was still processing. I was not informed of any this. I will not be back. Mine and my kids glasses were almost $1500 for all three and they cannot be honest with me. I will NOT be back. read more

The business is prompt and easy to schedule. They send you reminders online and you can also re-schedule online. The staff is friendly and they answer your questions with thoughtfulness. They work with you to get your contacts lens in place until you feel comfortable doing it yourself. They don't try to up-sell products. read more

I visited this store a couple of weeks ago and the staff was friendly but seemed to be so busy they didn't have time to spend with me to help me pick frames out that I always need help with. They were very helpful with my prescription and I explained about a previous bad experience I had with another company and they looked at my prescription and told me I didn't need the expensive lenses for it. that I could easily go into a less expensive lens. I appreciate their honesty. I did not end up purchasing as I could not find anything that fit well. I just wish that had more time to help me in choosing a frame that would look great. I understand that during the busy times its hard to give that personal attention customers need. maybe they management needs to have extra staff on hand during peaks times. read more

I received a text saying my glasses are ready for pick up. So I get there and wait 20 minutes for someone to help me and when they finally do the frame on my glasses are cracked and they have to reorder. I do not recommend and will not go there again. read more

I scheduled my husband an appointment and they couldn't figure out how to bill the insurance. Thankfully we found this out prior to his appointment. They actually called and told my husband (mind you he has 100% full coverage for exams) that his insurance only covers 10% and to be prepared to pay the rest after the appointment. The doctor might be great but if your front desk is incompetent your patients will never find out. I canceled the appointment and scheduled him somewhere that knows how to bill correctly and check on insurance! read more

Lens crafters was great but the optometry is not. They will tell you your insurance is good without checking it and then bill you. I wasn't sure if I was eligible for an exam, they told me they checked and I was good and so was my daughter. Even when I wasn't set in getting an exam and they were reassuring me I was good for one. I went to get my contact prescription later and they wouldn't release it because I owed money. I asked for what? The lady reported her book wasn't upfront and she couldn't tell me why I owed but she wouldn't sell me anything until I paid. It was so embarrassing. Also, they were billing some address I never lived at. When I questioned why they said I was good for another exam the response is we have too many tricare patients to actually check upfront, they assumed I was good. Told me one thing and had me sign another! I asked for her name and her supervisors name. She gave me his name, wouldn't give me his phone number, or say her last name. They need less tricare patients in my opinion and training in customer service. read more
