I had never heard of this franchise until recently, so after researching the brand further, I…read morescheduled and completed a free class. Although the facility appears much larger in the website photos and videos, it was smaller than expected. However, I was really excited about the experience. Prior to the free class, the staff member provided a comprehensive tour of the facility that included information about the benefits of infrared technology and fitness. The keyless entry location features 24/7 accessibility. As for the workouts, each workout station includes virtual instruction. My favorite was the cycling station. The rooms are compact and blazingly hot, but heat-adjustable. For this reason, I could not imagine being in the enclosed compartments with two other people. The facility not only features the HIIT workouts, hot-cycle, hot-thunder, and hot-blast, but also Isometric workouts such as hot-iso, hot-pilates, and hot-yoga. There is also a small workout area in the back featuring free weights. Smith machine and TRX bands. There are two bathrooms featuring glass showers. They also feature brand merchandise at the front. Overall, the location was clean. The workout rooms were clean, and the bathrooms were clean and well-stocked. Again, I think it is an interesting concept with some amazing results and benefit claims.

HotWorx is in a nice shopping center in Bowie where the Texas Roadhouse is located. I love that…read morethey have a pin pad to enter the facility for security purposes. They offer 24/7 access which is also great. Maury took care of me for my complimentary class. I took the Hot Barre None. It was a good 30 min session. It's nice and clean in there as well which is what I love the most since Saunas are involved. It doesn't smell sweaty or anything. I love that they also have a weight area if you want to do some strength training. The membership price $59 is a steal for unlimited classes. I can't wait to return and try more classes. It's so many to choose from since there are 6 rooms; some have workout machines. The instructors are virtual on the screen. I highly recommend everyone try it out. It is low impact and totally worth it.

I have been out of practice for a bit so this was a nice re-entry point. While the music and instruction and very quiet setting were different from my preferred yoga style, I will say that Angelina was a good teacher. The sequencing of the flow was great and I felt very challenged. I also appreciated how engaged she was with each student in different ways and the hands-on assistance she provided. I've been doing yoga for a while but there are still postures I'm confident aren't exactly right. She helped me correct a few and I was very grateful. She also recognized my flexibility and gave me additional adjustments/gentle pushes to get deeper into some postures. I also appreciated Mo at the front desk who was very nice and welcoming. Sometimes, when I come to smaller studios where everyone knows each other, I feel out of place but that wasn't the case here. Thanks, Radiance!

This gym and the wretched staff here have pissed me off for the final time. Ivan, the manager, is a…read morewaste of time and space and could not solve a problem if you handed him the guidebook to do so. Today, my kid was turned away because the kids club was at capacity due to poor planning, crappy ratios and the staff's inability to look at the schedule, look at who's registered for classes, look at who in those classes has a kid's membership and go from there. When I raised concerns with the staff and front desk, I was met with attitude and told to call guest services if I need help. This was what Ivan said after he said "we can remove the service for you right here" before he doubled down and threw a card on the counter and told me to call guest services. Additionally, one of the inept employees in the kids club, misidentified me as the parent who cussed her out and was hostile. I wasn't hostile - I made a few faces and asked specific, pointed questions. Y'all can't handle it because you don't know how to work under pressure and weren't given talking points? Fine. Be mad then, sis. Don't care. So, Ivan wanted to play savior and "write my name down" so that he could "determine what to do." FOH. Don't get mad at me when I ask legitimate questions about your policies that are not posted. Further, when you elevate your voice, don't get mad at me when I do the same. I have never had a positive experience here with the management team. I have filed multiple complaints and addressed multiple concerns and have never been followed up with. Ever. I have already requested cancellation of both of my memberships, and a refund. This gym is a hot mess. The management team is terrible. Spare yourself. And they're anti-Black American. I've had multiple experiences that demonstrate that: -no acknowledgment of Juneteenth in similar ways as July 4, despite it being a majority Black club -prior to opening, the guy whose last name is Tillman spoke about the fact that they don't have a gym because "this is PG COUNTY and all the thugs would show up sagging" -ongoing interactions I've witnessed and experienced between myself and the management team

Depending on your membership you can participate in classes, sauna, etc. on top of the gym being very spacious so equipment is mainly always available.
