They have these low level recruiters try to cold call you to see if your resume matches (because they are not experienced enough to figure it out themselves) and submit it to their manager. They do not have any background in IT. They never seem to put you in their system and this results in multiple calls from multiple recruiters trying to get you to give the same info on a 30 min call over and over again. I have asked multiple times to be removed from their call list, yet I keep getting calls. They also want your references so they can farm them for selling purposes. NEVER give out your references unless you are submitted for a job and accepted into the interview process. Insight Global will and has in the past in my experience used these references to try to sell their services and this is really annoying to director level and C level references and will result in you no longer having a reference. I have been stood up for meetings by text and more by the Boston office and I was not impressed with the gentleman who contacted me from the CT office that upon googling him found he had more saucy photos than Kim Kardashian on the net. I do not want Kim Kardashian representing me for professional IT jobs.

Emails weren't returned. Phone calls ignored. Practically everyone that works here is 22-25 years old and has 1-6 months of professional experience. All they look to do is fill seats in bad dead end jobs. They have job postings for positions that aren't available anymore just to get you to call in and they offer you garbage. Total bait and switch. Tremendous waste of time. Sorry for the fragmented sentences... Custom Staffing used to be one of the best employment agencies I'd ever been to. Their staff was…read morefriendly, returned phone calls and generally seemed to care about their candidates. They consistently called me with assignments tailored to my abilities and interests. Then, somewhere around the time the economy tanked, that changed dramatically. I would call and e-mail recruiters for weeks to no avail. I assumed their lack of response was due to the overwhelming number of candidates that were contacting them. Given the fact that I had worked for them previously and they were familiar with my abilities, I was still surprised when I talked to recruiters who promised to get back to me and never did. If they had no openings, that was never conveyed to me. Several months later, I got a call and accepted an assignment that I was eventually pulled off of with no warning or explanation, an action that strangely coincided with my daring to ask whether the company planned to hire me permanently or not. To add insult to injury, Custom had the nerve to ask me to return the company ID (which I'm sure could have been deactivated without my having to schlep it to them) before a holiday weekend, dangling my paycheck as a carrot unless it was returned. Totally ridiculous and unprofessional. To be honest, I'm sure the only reason they contacted me about this job in the first place was because no one else wanted it, a fact that was revealed to me within the first week.
