Especially Marlen! now before I say anything further- no, I'm not being paid or incentivize in any way to leave this review. I just really appreciate her sincere devotion to customer/tenant service and improving the quality of our lives each day. Anytime I need anything, she is on top of it! Amazon misplaces my package? I reached out to Marlen and she responds and gets it resolved right away. Elevator broken? (which has happened a few times now), Marlen calls the service team and they repair it within a day or so. Neighbor's nasty dogs leaving crappy stains all over the carpet in the shared community hallways? I send Marlen a picture and she gets the carpet cleaning team out the very next day. The list goes on! This place is a bit pricey, but I can 100% say that it has been worth every penny that I've spent here. and I would know, I have moved once or more a year since I was a child, and this is the first time that I would actually WANT to stay somewhere more than a year! The views are spectacular, the amenities are amazing, and the staff are the icing on the cake! Also, don't let some of these other reviews sway you. I used to work in customer success, and I've learns that people tend to only leave reviews when they have a bad experience, and I'm quite certain that most of the people who have love here have had amazing experiences, but never take the time to come back and write about it. I moved into the canyon vista community today under very difficult personal circumstances. Jeslet Sotelo, was the leasing agent who helped me. She went WELL ABOVE AND BEYOND--truly. She was incredibly overbooked, due to a clerical error with her scheduling software, but still took the time to ensure my move-in process was smooth, efficient, and as stress-free as possible. I recently went through a life-altering event and needed a place to start fresh ASAP. Jeslet was not only knowledgeable and professional, but also empathetic and kind--something I CANT articulate in words how desperately I needed. Thanks to her, I was able to move in today and am now able to put in the work on my next chapter. She deserves recognition (and honestly, a raise). Thank you, Jeslet, for turning a tough day into a hopeful one. I only hope one day I can repay you with an outing to Rodizio, or at the very least a heart felt thank you the next time I pass by the leasing offices. And I will say my requests tend to be on the unconventional and needy side I'm in a one bedroom that has such a wonderful layout with lots of storage and great unobstructed views. I have had very few maintenance requests but every time I do need something they're there within an hour and able to fix anything and everything I have a question about. There are a huge perks in living here which include having the smart home as well as the Amazon hub that both Amazon UPS and FedEx all have access to use so your packages are always secure. The common hallways are often cleaned and maintained to make sure everyone's homes remain nice! Management has always gone above and beyond to help me out and make me feel like a welcome member of their community

However, the parking here is the worst I've ever seen at an apartment complex. I've lived in multiple places and haven't seen somewhere that doesn't invest in finding more parking. They had a field next to them that got bought by a landscaping company where they could've invested in making more parking and there is a field to the south of them. They've painted the buildings and have done many nice things to make the complex look great but the parking is a joke. Just a fair warning of what to expect when you move here. No parking but a wonderful place to live. You also don't get a covered parking spot with your apartment but have to pay for it separately which I haven't seen at any other place either.

The staff has been so great to work with! Most of my planning had to happen from 300 miles away so I relied a lot on email and phone calls with the staff. They went above and beyond to help me determine whether this was the place for me. Cami, Josh, and Skyler all made me feel welcome. Any question or concern I had during the application and move-in process was addressed with professionalism, respect, and kindness. The gated community helps me feel safe. The two-car garages are a rare treat in this area of South Salt Lake. I am so excited to be settled into my new home. I highly recommend this property for folks looking for clean, quiet, safe living. I would try regulating my breathing, or get up in the middle of the night, and for any little upset, it would set off any adjoining apartments. -The rent goes up like clockwork, to the point where you can't even make a raise without it going towards the landlords who clearly need it more. -The environment is filthy with dog crap and garbage building up all over the place. Bed bugs actively sneak in. And if you live on the first floor, ants and insects will be your constant roommates. -With so much trash in the area, it will regularly blow into your stairwell, and you will be charged if it isn't kept clean. It's not too much of a nuisance, until you realize how often you have to do it. And of course, your neighbors won't be bothered to clean, so the burden falls on you. -There are regular inspections to investigate how well you've been treating their apartment. The invasion of privacy is annoying, but even worse when you consider how cheap a lot of the materials are. I was sweeping one time and had to get behind some curtains, but of course, the cheap plastic broke when I moved it. Regular visits, combined with frequent breaks and accidents, isn't very enjoyable. Pro: -The staff are polite and do a good job. A place like this clearly needs good staff to even attempt to make up for its failures. And even then, I wouldn't recommend this place at all! Go somewhere that will add years to your life.

One of the biggest highlights for me has been the responsiveness of the maintenance team. I submitted a request and was genuinely impressed by how quickly they showed up to resolve the issue. A special shout-out to Christian, who assisted me personally. He was extremely professional, polite, and clearly skilled at what he does. He helped fix both my A/C and washing machine efficiently, and made sure everything was running smoothly before he left. It's not every day you come across service like that. Overall, I'm very satisfied with both the living experience and the staff support here. Highly recommend The Zeller!

Easily one of the most expensive apartments in downtown salt lake - with the worst management and…read moremaintenance. Constantly dirty, and A/C & heating was constantly breaking. It didn't work for over a month in the summer, (I had to go out of town because it was completely ignored) - and the heating wasn't fixed for 3 weeks in the winter (I got sick), and management is beyond rude, and will only be polite to you while you are looking to sign a new lease. Specifically - Zach is the rudest / inadequate person on the team, will dismiss all of your concerns, and treat you like you are an annoyance to the community. He also doesn't know what he's doing on the job, so don't bother.
