From the sweet lady at the front desk (Kristina) who made registration quick & easy, to thoughtful Nurse Rommel, who gifted us with a small teddy bear as a brave patient prize, to kind & gentle Dr. Bechtel, we were seen by quality practitioners who gave prompt attention, treating our situation with professionalism & empathy. Being an over-protective parent, we felt it better to be safe than sorry and came here after our toddler got too curious for her own good. The clinic is open 24/7, so we were thankful to arrive after 10pm with little wait. Dr. Bechtel was not dismissive about the situation but offered light humor, comfort, and reassurance. They kept our kiddo in observation with us just long enough to make sure she was okay and marked our visit as "urgent care" (versus an "emergency") to ease the financial burden. Don't want to repeat the situation any time soon, but this will be our absolute go-to if a medical emergency arises again. Highly recommend this place and appreciate the staff who took care of us that night.

I felt comfortable and at ease right away due to the amazing bedside manners. I want to thank Dr. Lorentz, JJ my RN, and paramedic Will for wonderful care. Dr. Lorentz was very thorough, caring and informative and JJ was made sure I was comfortable at all times. The facility is clean, bright, in a convenient location, and they take Medicare. Elyse and Lindsay who worked the front desk were polite and courteous. When we arrived, no one was there. they informed me that they are not allowed to touch anything postop and they would not pull up any of my insurance information. These people did not want to work.

I am a diabetic and heart patient who had open heart surgery four years ago. No one was on duty at the front office. When I yelled out emergency the tech leisurely, unhurriedly came up. They refused to treat me until I provided my medical insurance and paid a $50 copay. They then took my vitals and told me to wait in the lobby. When I called an ambulance they suddenly got busy helping me. They ran an ekg and eventually a breathing treatment but gave me no oxygen. Still waiting to see a doctor 45 minutes in.the lack of concern for anything except making $$$ is obvious.

I have two new ones they're small I have a strong faith and my husband and I are retired and we all gave a story mine I got during my four tours in Iraq I'm sure . I was permanently injured in Baghdad I came home I couldn't work ever again so I have to say MD Anderson is the best for all of us suffering from Cancer because everybody that works there absolutely cares for all of us Thank you MD Anderson.

I have been a patient at MDA since 2012. i recently did 35 radiation treatments at the Woodlands as i reside in Spring just 10 miles from there. What an amazing group of people. "Always" smiling and on time with my treatments. The way the Woodlands works in unison with the Med center facility is amazing. I have lab/blood work done every 3 months and the results are usually in my chart/phone before i get out of the parking lot. Here is my summary in a nut shell. Why on earth would you trust anyone else with your life. MDA is second to none.They actually made my cancer history! Amen

My husband initially went in on Monday at 9:30 AM experiencing intense pain early in the morning. There were no lines when I arrived, the office was clean, and the staff were polite and professional. During the visit, they drew labs and gave me a referral to have an ultrasound done (which I was able to get done that day at 1pm). I was told that they would call me with the results once everything was reviewed. Wednesday, the clinic contacted us with the lab results, but they had no update regarding the imaging. I then called the imaging center myself and was informed that the ultrasound images had already been sent to the clinic Wednesday afternoon. On Thursday, I went to the imaging center in person to pick up a copy of the results and the CD containing the images. I called the same day (Th) and was told the NP should have the results reviewed by Friday. When I followed up today(Friday), I was told that it may not be reviewed until Monday. While I'm grateful my husband's pain has mostly subsided and is feeling almost back to normal, the delay in reviewing the imaging results feels unnecessary and frustrating. Especially considering the imaging center had already sent the results several days ago. Overall, my initial visit was positive in terms of the cleanliness of the office and the friendliness of the staff and cost of the visit. After calling they are more annoyed and don't seem to care that patients are left with no answers. The delay in communicating diagnostic results and providing follow-up information has been disappointing and has left me waiting longer than expected for answers. This is my second time going here for labs and imaging (first time with my son) and I didn't experience this type of delay so hopefully this isn't what usually happens.
