FYI - AIR B N B sent this message this morning. We were kicked out inappropriately. Please see the message from air b n b. As I indicated we were racially profiled and this prejudice host and community are trying to cover it up. I am not a long term resident. I am trying to ascertain how this pet friendly community kicked us out without warning , due to my (6 lb shitzu who is house trained and doesn't bark ) and pet urinating in the grass and on a rug. I stated I would reimburse the complex , yet we were escorted off of the premises like criminals prior to our reservation end date . Do NOT stay here whether air b n b or living long term . This place is not safe for black people . Also , fake reviews were just added after mine to cover up my experience. ***** Do not recommend if you are African American . This place is not safe for you . You will be racially profiled because of your skin complexion. Horrible place to live .

Review explaining how half the building lost heat prior to the pipes busting and management telling us to F*** off basically.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I have been living here for almost a year and between the constant shuffle of managment you'll be ignored and your needs will be swept under the rug. I have personally seen atleast 10 property managers come through and do nothing. This place is supposedly "luxury" but I can hear my upstairs neighbor all hours of the day. I have complained with no avail explaining to insulate better but no who would do that? Ontop of that managment decided to rent out vacant apartments to airbnb (we aren't allowed to sublease though) which makes the security of the building an issue ontop of the people treating the property like their personal playground and destroying everything. Fast forward to 12/24/22 and this winter storm has come with below 0 temperatures and the heat goes out . What luxury is this?!? We are currently using the broiler on our oven to try and keep the temperature in our apartment up. $2000 a month wasted. They didn't even salt the garage enough for people to get in. Last night the LMPD had to tow away a car because it slid backwards down the entry ramp. Do not rent here. Do not rent CIG communities. RUN ** EDIT- I was just told that "managment cannot handle everyone issue there's nothing we can do about it we can't solve all of the problems that happen all of the time." So glad I have all of these recordings. ***EDIT #2 Deuce the maintenance man came and flipped a breaker hopefully it fixes everything. Extremly nice and understanding man I wish the rest of this company was like him. **** EDIT #3 the water pipes finally busted on 12/24/22 at 4am the entire building was forced to evacute while it was 19°F outside because again, poor planning from managment. If you value your time, money, sanity do not stay here.

I am not an actual tenant here nor have I lived here. I helped a family friend move a few weeks back and checked out the facilities. The condos or apartments themselves are very beautiful with origami blm hardwood floors and good space. The interior designs and decor in this place are phenomenal. A beautiful place with cool architecture and landscape. The amenities here seemed to be really top notch as well. I was impressed with everything I seen on my trip. The apartment or condo life does not fit my large family lifestyle but if I lived a simpler and more condensed life then they would absolutely be a place I'd check out to live.

The maintenance guys are superb; I don't recall ever waiting more than 24 hours regardless of the priority of the request. The BAD: It's noisy; you will hear your neighbor (and their dog) upstairs, and sometimes those on either side. The UGLY: I had auto-pay, and they continued to charge me for more than a month and a half after I moved out. They refused to show me how they calculated the refund amount, mis-addressed the refund check, and - despite the fact that it was due to their errors - charged me to stop the delayed check. If you rent here, make sure they don't cheat you too.

They are always host fun events, bringing in food trucks or planning an outdoor group work out session followed with donuts and so much more. The maintenance staff is great! You can always count on things to get fixed quickly and correctly. The property is beautiful and well maintained. It is quiet and peaceful. You can't hear hardly any traffic noise from Hurstbourne. The other residents are friendly and good neighbors. I have a one year old and I love that we go on walks through the property and she can play in the open grassy areas. Close to groceries and stores. Plenty of great restaurants nearby. A great place to call home!

We looked at and toured 10 different apartments in Louisville and didn't feel good about anything of them due to staff, price, and outdated apartments. On our last day we toured The Willows and immediately felt like it was the right place for us! We worked with Lucy and she did a phenomenal job of taking our preferences into account, accommodating to us and our big move across the country, she was never pushy, and was very knowledgable and transparent about all The Willows had to offer us. When we moved in our first weekend the heat went out; but, Justin and the rest of the maintenance team were just a phone call away, responded immediately and dropped everything to get to us on a Sunday and help fix our HVAC! We had to call him twice that day and he was so quick to respond and come assist us, all the while helping us with a smile on his face. Great location, quiet neighbors and neighborhood, plenty of parking, mailbox right outside apartment, updated kitchen appliances and bathrooms, new floors and great lighting, included security system, plenty of storage space, and quant little fireplace! The office staff is always incredibly kind, always available, and always seek my family and I out to make sure all of our needs are met. They even know our dogs name and give her treats in the office! We couldn't have had a better experience and we're so glad we chose The Willows! 10/10 would recommend!

Awesome gym, great lobby with a coffee machine that has amazing local coffee beans, a sparkling water dispenser. The units themselves are very nice , well laid out , high ceilings , lots of windows . The parking spots are also generous. We picked well sight unseen and do not regret our choice! The St Matthew's area is nice and we can get to downtown in 10-15 minutes to go to dinner in Nulu. There are a few restaurants within walking distance of the complex at the adjacent mall which has capital grille steak house, a Mexican place called condado and the eagle, along with good shopping ( lululemon, madewell, Von maur) . Our dog loves the lobby treats, pupton , and the pet spa for us to give her a bath once a month. It's like resort living !

I'm on my third lease with Upton and couldn't be happier with the location, management, amenities, and above all...culture and community! Most apartment communities showcase a ton of amenities, but then fall short on execution, especially once they've been open for awhile. Upton keeps everything working and spotless...and in addition to the regular amenities (pool, gym, dog park, espresso/coffee machine, etc.) the resident events (Wine Down Wednesdays, Top Golf Wednesdays, polo matches, concert series, food trucks, etc.) create a literal dream for any renter. Upton Oxmoor never ceases to amaze me with their never-ending social calendar, friendly community, and pristine grounds. A+++ for Upton, even after all these years.

We had been living at another apartment complex in the area for the past two years and had a less than ideal experience. Because of that when we started apartment hunting, we were weary & came with a laundry list of questions! Throughout the move-in and decision-making process the staff made it easy for us! Katie, Kaitlyn, and Tyler all made sure we comfortable and every single one of questions were answered. I think they showed me and my roommate around the property & different room layouts about 4 times! Bless their hearts! Since then, our time at Main and Clay has only continued to be fabulous. The team up front, as well as the maintenance team come to work with a smile on their face and are ready to help! I do not have enough good things to say! The bedrooms only had 1 bedroom that were not wide. The hallway was smelly because the trash was not picked up due to a holiday and the tenants didn't listen and stuck their trash out anyways. I was getting frustrated with my apartment hunt, and no place I looked at felt like home. Pulling into Waterford Place immediately felt different. The grounds are carefully landscaped and make the whole property feel more like a retreat than some mass-produced cookie-cutter apartment complex that has been constructed only for profit. I parked at the clubhouse/leasing office and was greeted by a friendly and very professional leasing agent who showed me the property. We started with the clubhouse itself (which offers free wi-if), and proceeded to the outdoor pool and hot tub. Both were well maintained and appeared clean, with many chairs and cabanas around the pool. I could see myself lounging there in warm weather and enjoying a sunny summer day. But I digress . . . We proceeded to the gym, which had several types of cardio equipment, a weight machine, and several free weights. The agent pointed out the direction to the racquetball courts, which we didn't tour, but it's nice to know the property has those for anyone who is interested. The unit the agent showed me was a model. The nice thing about seeing a model is seeing it with furniture and getting a good idea of how it may look when I'm living there and how furniture will fit into the space. Personally, though, I like to see the actual unit that I will be living in, so I was a little bummed about being shown a model. The bedroom closet was huge for an apartment and would easily fit my 4 season's worth of clothes. We ended the tour back at the clubhouse after meandering around the grounds to see some of the "lakes", complete with several happy-looking mallards paddling around in the water. Touring Waterford Place was a refreshing change from some of the experiences I had had at other properties. If you're looking for a professionally managed property in the St Matthews area, definitely look into Waterford for yourself!

So I have previously posted a review about my move in which was terrible. After that they offered me a transfer to a much smaller apartment at the price but that had critical aspects I wanted in an apartment. Oh, but could I remove the review? I told them I would see what happened. I was supposed to get the new apartment 8/18 and was told it would be a no cost move. Then I was told I needed a new deposit and a needed to pay the rent for the new place early. Oh and it wouldn't be ready until 8/25. Which is what happened with this apartment. So then my roommate writes a review about his in another site. And oh hurrah! They are letting me out of my lease.... But first they ask me to sign a move out saying I remain responsible for my 2 months notice payment. Nope. I tell them before I sign anything I need them to also release me. When they give me the release it says I can't write a review about my stay here. Don't know what I am going to do. I guess that is one way to keep all positive reviews! They are nice until you expect them to follow through at which point they are not nice at all. Issues list below: 1. Unit was not as promised. I should have insisted on seeing the actual unit, but I was moving from a distance away and trusted Patrick. 2. First move-in date changed at the last minute so I had to reschedule movers and moving help. 3. Moved in around the guy fixing the AC and the guy putting in lights. AC didn't work for several days so I had to make due with a portable in one room only. 4. Garbage disposal was clogged with metal???? Man fixing the light accused me of breaking it. I had literally been in the place for 10 minutes. Fixed it myself. 5. Blinds in MB broke in half the first time I opened them 6. Bathtub in Master wouldn't hold water. Was "fixed" but still doesn't work. 7. Water heater does not produce enough hot water to fill a bath tub 8. Vertical blinds help together with Scotch tape and covered in paint. ""Fixed", but the slats now fall off when you open them. 9. Patio door did not lock. 10. GB window will not stay open. "Fixed" but still won't stay open. Windows are also old and leak. 11. Guest BR screen does not fit properly and falls out when window is open. 12. Dryer went had a hole in it so vented it into the house. When I pulled it out I found half a load of someone else's clothes, mold and filth under the dryer. EWWWW 13. The stove has no vent despite the microwave having a vent setting. It does not draw air. 14. A few weeks after the Aircon was fixed it started dripping and needed to be fixed again.17. MB is supposed to be fixed but still doesn't hold water. Staff has told me it there will ALWAYS be problems but what is important is that they FIX them... Except I am on my 16th maintenance request in a month. And the fixes don't always fix anything.
