Taylor and Emily were incredibly helpful in our home search!!…read more we had a pretty hectic situation . we had just moved across country, to be living in a hotel (a family of 4 and 2 large dogs) we were desperate. I know I must have given these women a few gray hairs with my list of wants and constantly sending them listings and having them drive all over the place (sorry ladies)- but they were never once impatient with me. never once acted like I was a burden. they were both very quick to respond. Emily pointed out some issues that I didn't notice, which was great because I'm sure it saved us a ton of headaches in the end! some houses we walked into and literally turned right back around and walked out (unfortunately you can't smell homes through photos) and they understood and didn't once make me feel bad for taking up their time. when it came time to purchasing Taylor was our main girl and she really went up to bat for us !! We got a great deal and felt so pleased with all the negotiating she did for us. we are now 6 months into our home and so happy. I HIGHLY recommend Taylor and Emily. thank you ladies for helping us during such a stressful time in our lives, taking the time with us to make sure we got exactly what we wanted . Thank you Emily and Taylor - the Lee family .

It's been over a year since I bought my first house, and I realized I had never said here how happy…read moreI was with my experience. I stumbled on Redfin through an internet search about the best, most user-friendly apps for finding real estate listings and ended up getting hooked up with them because they had the easiest way to schedule viewings: I didn't have to call anyone. I just had to click a button online and show up, and the realtor would be there to show me the property. Danielle ended up being the person I saw, and she first showed me the house I ended up buying. Because I was short on time (I'm a teacher, and it was just a couple weeks before the school year was starting), I really wanted to find a place as quickly as possible and jump on it. So even though I loved the first house I viewed, she arranged for me to see several other properties with the other Redfin agent, Vivian, the next day, and that helped me decide to go with my gut on the first one. I ended up making an offer on that first house, and Danielle talked me through the whole process, helping me come up with an offer price, pointing out things in the house I needed to list to be addressed, helping me find competent people to do estimates and inspection, and then even talking me through my counteroffer and negotiation, and being very reasonable about what I should expect from the seller. She was spot on throughout the experience, friendly and practical, never pushing me one way or another. And when my offer was accepted and I went to do the final walk-through and found they had not sufficiently addressed all of my concerns, even though she was out of town, she talked to me on the phone and helped me weigh the costs vs. benefits of prolonging the process. In the end, she ended up coming over with her husband after I'd bought the house to staple down some loose wires that the seller hadn't taken care of, and I was worried about. I can't say enough good things about Danielle and Redfin. I love my house, and I feel like I had the best counsel possible during the buying process. I never felt like an afterthought or a number, and I don't think there's anything more I could ask for.

Like any brokerage, Redfin employs agents to help our customers buy and sell homes. The only difference is simple but revolutionary: we're on the customer's side. Really on the customer's side. Our agents earn a customer-satisfaction bonus not a commission, so instead of going for the easy sale we fight for the client's best interests, even when that means telling a client to walk away from a bad deal. Our online tools make the home tour, the listing debut, the escrow process -- the whole process -- totally transparent and worry-free. No other brokerage has the same ability to build technology or put customers first. Our work as agents allows us to build a better website, publishing proprietary data from local real estate boards as well as firsthand insights from Redfin agents touring homes and writing offers. And our agents, backed by the #1 brokerage website and the top-rated mobile applications, can in turn focus on serving customers, not prospecting for new ones. Redfin's focus is on reinventing the home-buying and selling experience for the 21st century. The company so far has a 97% customer-satisfaction rating, $5+ billion in home sales and is one of the world's fastest-growing brokerages in a $60-billion market.

So I have previously posted a review about my move in which was terrible. After that they offered me a transfer to a much smaller apartment at the price but that had critical aspects I wanted in an apartment. Oh, but could I remove the review? I told them I would see what happened. I was supposed to get the new apartment 8/18 and was told it would be a no cost move. Then I was told I needed a new deposit and a needed to pay the rent for the new place early. Oh and it wouldn't be ready until 8/25. Which is what happened with this apartment. So then my roommate writes a review about his in another site. And oh hurrah! They are letting me out of my lease.... But first they ask me to sign a move out saying I remain responsible for my 2 months notice payment. Nope. I tell them before I sign anything I need them to also release me. When they give me the release it says I can't write a review about my stay here. Don't know what I am going to do. I guess that is one way to keep all positive reviews! They are nice until you expect them to follow through at which point they are not nice at all. Issues list below: 1. Unit was not as promised. I should have insisted on seeing the actual unit, but I was moving from a distance away and trusted Patrick. 2. First move-in date changed at the last minute so I had to reschedule movers and moving help. 3. Moved in around the guy fixing the AC and the guy putting in lights. AC didn't work for several days so I had to make due with a portable in one room only. 4. Garbage disposal was clogged with metal???? Man fixing the light accused me of breaking it. I had literally been in the place for 10 minutes. Fixed it myself. 5. Blinds in MB broke in half the first time I opened them 6. Bathtub in Master wouldn't hold water. Was "fixed" but still doesn't work. 7. Water heater does not produce enough hot water to fill a bath tub 8. Vertical blinds help together with Scotch tape and covered in paint. ""Fixed", but the slats now fall off when you open them. 9. Patio door did not lock. 10. GB window will not stay open. "Fixed" but still won't stay open. Windows are also old and leak. 11. Guest BR screen does not fit properly and falls out when window is open. 12. Dryer went had a hole in it so vented it into the house. When I pulled it out I found half a load of someone else's clothes, mold and filth under the dryer. EWWWW 13. The stove has no vent despite the microwave having a vent setting. It does not draw air. 14. A few weeks after the Aircon was fixed it started dripping and needed to be fixed again.17. MB is supposed to be fixed but still doesn't hold water. Staff has told me it there will ALWAYS be problems but what is important is that they FIX them... Except I am on my 16th maintenance request in a month. And the fixes don't always fix anything.
