Arguably England's second most photographed clock (there's another prize ceremony that would still be better than the Soap Awards), Chester's Eastgate clock stands over the original entry point to the Roman fortress of Deva Victrix, a settlement that later evolved into Chester itself.
Built to celebrate Queen Victoria's diamond jubilee but finished two years late, the clock stands as a quaint nugget of interest that does a pretty good job of making the historical town look even more olde worlde. It's probably been on bloody Hollyoaks a few times as well.
