The beers here are displayed by brewery in a very formal and neat manner. With the range of shapes of bottles that are placed neatly on the shelves, the shop has an appearance that is reminiscent of an old-time chemists. And there's some good medicine here.
There are loads of beers from the UK including Meantime, and Thornbridge. World Beers are represented by Flying Dog, Brooklyn and many more. Porters and IPAs feature big on the menu. And it's not all beer. Fine wines, spirits and Champagnes also feature. For those who plan their hangovers ahead, there is a cure in the form of Cool Dawn. For teetotalers. the new-and-hard-to-find taste sensations that are Zeo 'interesting soft drinks' are also on offer.
'Purity & More' is a bit of a strange slogan to have ont he window, given that Purity's ales are now as ubiquitous as Carling, and that this store sells so much in the way of high-end liquid.
