My property manager called out Exodus to diagnose and repair a running toilet. Exodus suggested a…read morefull toilet replacement which is ridiculous. The justification was "toilet parts are old" even though the toilet itself is in great condition. After pushing back they proposed a second option for nearly $500 - this is to spend 30 minutes replacing the valve and flapper with a parts cost of $25 max from Home Depot. The work ended up being completed by a handyman for much less. Needless to say Exodus is never welcome on one of my properties again. The attempt to gouge by including extra scope is plain dishonesty and borderline fraud. I would exercise caution.

I had a great experience with All American Plumbing, particularly Iain and his apprentice, Steve…read more I originally called because our kitchen drain had become completely backed up. I had tried troubleshooting it myself and initially thought it might be a relatively simple clog, but it became pretty clear that it needed a professional. Iain thoroughly snaked the line and got everything flowing properly again. While he was working, he also pointed out that the plumbing under our kitchen sink had a lot of smaller sections, fittings, and connections that could be simplified to minimize future issues. What I really appreciated was that it never felt like an upsell. He mentioned it simply as something I might want to consider in the future. I was actually the one who asked whether he could just take care of it while he was already there. He even hesitated because he wasn't sure he had all the necessary parts on the truck, but checked and was able to get it done. The new setup under the sink looks dramatically cleaner, simpler, and stronger. Some of the old fittings were pretty finicky, so I'm especially glad I didn't continue trying to tackle it myself. Iain and Steve spent about three hours between clearing the drain, rebuilding the piping, and making sure everything was working correctly. The pricing was also very reasonable, and Iain actually reduced the original drain-cleaning charge after I added the additional work without me even asking. Both Iain and Steve were friendly, professional, and straightforward. I also really appreciated that Iain took the time to explain what he was doing and gave me some good advice for maintaining the drains going forward. It's hard to find a plumber you feel like you can trust, and this was one of those experiences where I finished the job feeling like I had found someone I would absolutely call again. Highly recommend Iain, Steve, and All American Plumbing.

Ryan came out from Almco and spent enough time, assessing my problem, whether it's roots or leaves or poor drainage angle (lowest point in the middle). Probably a combination of all three. He gave me an estimate for a power jetting to clear roots and debris, and that didn't work. It would have to be dug up to fix the angle of drain drainage in the pipe. I felt he was sincerely, considering my needs and possible solutions, not trying to jack me up or sell me unneeded services. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and very professional. I felt like I could trust him. While this may be an expensive project I felt like he would be giving me a fair price and really appreciated the time and knowledge he shared with me.
