They protected the windows and shrubbery from the old roof materials that were thrown down. My complaints: I was told they would charge me $75 per sheet of plywood that needed to be replaced. Interestingly, they bought 3 pieces of heavy-duty plywood (which does cost that much) and 5 pieces of lower-quality pressed board plywood (in which a substantially lower price would have been charged.) When I questioned the female employee who came after the crew left why that price for the low-grade quality plywood, her answer (and I kid you not!) was "for labor and clean up). Hmmm. Those costs were included in the estimate. Okay. The crew was ALSO SUPPOSED to go around my home with a large magnet roller to search for metal building materials (I.e., nails!) but never did that. Thankfully, I didn't have a flat tire as a result and a second contractor found several.

At first, we assumed it was a roof leak, but after a thorough inspection, they discovered the real issue was a corroded water pipe upstairs. The team was professional, responsive, and transparent throughout the entire process. They cut into the upstairs wall to locate the leak, removed the damaged pipes, and installed new PEX water lines with high-pressure fittings. Two separate leaks were repaired. They also cut out and replaced the damaged ceiling and walls downstairs, furred out areas to create a flush finish over the old plaster, and reinforced damaged studs and floor joists. All drywall work was completed with finishing and painting included. They even took care of debris removal and sealed a minor leak on the roof for good measure. The entire project came to $8,280. Given the scope and quality of the work, I felt the pricing was fair and well worth it. Premier House Care made a stressful situation much easier to deal with, and the end result was top-quality. Owner Dave Wilson oversaw the entire job. He was very patient with me and was very attentive and responsive to all my questions and requests. The on-site manager, Russell, was present throughout the entire job and was extremely responsive. He kept everything moving smoothly, made sure all materials that were needed were there and in good condition, and the workers were ready to go. Russell went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly and that I was completely happy with all aspects of the Job. They replaced 3 skylights, caulked inside and did finish work. The skylights look great! They did not just drop the skylights in and hammer them down. They allowed me to look at placement and tweak it to where I was happy with how it looked. This attention to detail was carried through throughout the job. They replaced outside rotted boards around the doormer with PVC at no charge. They showed up early and stayed late every day. They worked very hard every minute they were here. All of the workers were very polite and pleasant. When they were finished, they did a thorough job of cleaning up and removing all waste materials and packaging from the premises. There was not a trace of debris anywhere. The overall job looks wonderful. It is so nice to work with contractors that truly care about the job and sincerely want to make sure that the homeowner is happy.
