Since originally discovering this vet in 2025, I have been taking not only my dogs, but I am also a pet sitter so I offer to take client's dogs. I have probably been to his office over 20x's in the past year and he has been amazing. He is knowledgeable, explains everything in detail and even uses a white board and draws pictures to make it easy to understand. He is honest and his prices are amazing. If you're searching for a vet in Mexico that is easy to find and super close to the border, do not hesitate to go. It is on a first come first serve basis, but if you arrive 15 minutes before they open, it's typically a 30 minute wait. There is limited parking but I'm always able to find street parking and have never had any issues with either my vehicle or ever felt unsafe. Very kind staff and even the people who live there and the other clients who go to his office are very friendly.

After reading all the great reviews (and yes, they're REAL), I decided to give them a chance, and I'm so glad I did! From the moment I walked in, I could tell this place was different. The entire staff truly cares about every pet that comes in. They don't see animals as $$$ signs, they listen, they explain, and they care about your fur babies. My first green flag was seeing multiple pets being cared for behind the front desk, literally hanging out freely instead of being locked in cages, I absolutely LOVED THAT!! There are no appointments, you just wait your turn. I've been there four times, and only once did I wait for my turn about 15-20 minutes. Every other visit was less than 5 minutes. The clinic looks like a house from the outside, so parking is limited, but even then I only had to wait about 10 minutes once. I took my 7-year-old pittie because he was bleeding while peeing. They ran different tests, diagnosed him with an enlarged prostate, and recommended surgery (neutering). It's now been 11 days since he got surgery at El Club de Nana, his stitches are out, the bleeding is completely gone, and he's happier and has so much more energy. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to the doctors Lulu and Francisco, and the staff at Club de Nana. I have my healthy, happy boy back, and I couldn't be more grateful .

When we arrived there were several locals bringing their pet in. Dr. Rivera was incredibly caring from the start, you can tell he loves all animals. They were very upfront about pricing when I asked about teeth cleaning and teeth extraction. My dog's teeth look great and her behavior was fine, tail wagging and everything even after getting 5 teeth removed. Doctor explained the entire procedure and was very informative with the aftercare. I noticed that my dog wasn't put to sleep immediately. It took her couple minutes to finally sleep. I couldn't bear watch her that now I think they didn't do the procedure properly as putting her with anesthesia first. I wish I didn't put my dog through this place. They are quick to see the dog and will give fast care but they have become expensive and a little careless. They seem to money driven now. They don't weight the dogs as they should to give proper medication dosages. They also have increased their prices that don't seem to be any better than the US.

At the time I wasn't able to find a vet in San Diego that would've been able to see her that week so the very next day I went to a vet in Tijuana recommended to me by family. He would've been unable to do the jaw surgery, so he recommended me to Servicios Veterinarios California. After waiting for a couple of hours Cesar was able to perform an x-ray on the spot and found another fracture that the ER vet missed. He was able to remove the eye and wire both jaw fractures that same night and I was able to pick her up the next morning along with her medication. I don't want to get into specifics, but all of these services combined were cheaper than the ER visit. All of the follow up visits, whether it was a checkup, suture removal, or surgical wire removal, were very easy and hassle free. They even asked if I wanted to have her nails trimmed while she was sedated! There was plenty of metered parking on the street every time I visited. I'm not sure if they are doing appointments now, but I highly recommend bringing cash.

Come to find out they SPAYED ALL OF OUR DOGS WITHOUT PERMISSION, when we had an appointment for TEETH CLEANING. My dog is currently 13 years old, she did NOT need to get spayed. Two of the other dogs were PREVIOUSLY ALREADY SPAYED, and they still cut them open and SPAYED THEM AGAIN. These people do NOT care. These people have absolutely NO KNOWLEDGE on what they're doing. They gave us 12,000 pesos to apologize but that is worth nothing after what they put through ALL FIVE of our pets. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THEM
