He wrote up the forms I needed to get some blood work done and sent me on my way. I was in and out in under 10 minutes. I returned the next morning to see the lab tech for my blood work. Though they open at 9 and I was first in line to see the tech, she did not see me until almost 9:30. Once I was in she was great. She had the needle in on the first try and thanks to my excellent pumping skills, I had the vials filled in no time.

The doctors all seem fairy knowledgable. I fractured my tibia once and came here to have it checked out. They sent me right over to Bloor and Christie (about a block away) to get X-Rays done and called me about 3 days later with the results. That's better service than my own family doctor provides! They also have a pharmacy located on the same floor, so you can always pick up your prescription there if need be. I would certainly recommend this clinic if you need to see a doctor and live in the area.

For a downtown walk -in, the wait time to see a doctor is very fast. Doctors are great and will take time to listen to your issues. Now with COVID, you have the opportunity to send an email to have a doctor call you back and a doctor calls back within one hour! They can diagnose over the phone and even send emailed prescriptions to your local pharmacy. From Queen and Yonge (Queen subway Station), walk south until you see the Rexall, then make sure you are on the north east corner of Richmond and Yonge, then walk east. You will see the waiting area of the walkin clinic. Registration took 2 minutes for new patients. The receptionists are very kind and the doctors are competent, efficient, and caring. Other clinics that I've gone to (like Lockwood) make you wait 45 minutes to 1 hour -- sometimes 2 hours, WTF?? That is ridiculous. This clinic is LIGHTNING FAST! ZIP and your DONE. I was surprised as this was the first time that I don't have to wait for a long time so I was feeling kinda positive. Then the doctor assigned to me, Dr. Calvin Lei came into the room and this is where everything downhill. He checked me for a mere 5 mins and diagnosed it as a viral infection. I asked him what to do next as I'm taking OTC medicines and his reply was "to do whatever I want to do". When you come to see a professional you defer to their expertise and have high hopes that doctors will help you heal. Well not Dr. Lei. When you're at your vulnerable times and hurting he will definitely rushed you and your illness/symptoms dismissed. Most likely will not even provide you with the answers to your problem. This experience further inflamed my deep frustration and dissatisfaction with our health care system. I told her about harassment & discrimination by York University staff as a retaliation after I pointed out on their unethical hiring, unethical practices, & mistreatment of PhD students at the PhD in HRM. Then, she tried to convince me I need to see a psychiatrist for telling her that which gaslighting resembles the York U staff when a students points out on wrongdoings as they can't stand criticism. She said that she watches a TV show (Love & B....).. to diagnose people with disorders. Yet, she mentioned some concepts & it was clear to me she doesn't know much from that filed. She seemed confused as if she is a psychiatrist when it was clear from her comments that she doesn't even know basic stuff about some disorders (I have a degree in Psych & studied Abnormal Psych). She said she will only give me refills for two weeks & I must see her again to see if she needs to send me to a psychiatrist. This reminded me of the time in history when women were sent in asylum because someone was prejudiced or didn't like them. I have never had such experience with a medical doctor before. She was very professional & her (mis)conduct) disturbing. Her God syndrome that she is knowledgeable in psychiatry when she is not - says that she needs re-evaluation (she is older with all white hair).

Once when I was there, I had the beginning signs of an asthma attack and they quickly and calmly made sure I got to ER where I was taken care of. They got me through some other serious health concerns and were always quick to follow up. I don't know what else to say... Yes, they are clean. Yes, they are centrally located and close to TTC. Bloor Street: The staff are very nice and helpful. The clinic itself is the size of a dentist room very SMALLLL. This clinic is different as they ALLOW YOU to bring someone in for support while the Mississauga Queensway location DOES NOT. I preferred the does not clinic for that because it is empty , quiet and only people who are getting the procedure/clinic workers are there to aid you. All about preference. This one is so CRAMPED THAT THE ROOM WHERE THEY DO THE ABORTION IS SMALLER THAN MY WALK-IN CLOSET!!!!!! It is way TO SMALL OF A CLINIC. It is quite outdated and tight. But the staff are very kind and helpful. The largest room is the room where the women rest after the vacuum/surgical procedure. This one gave me an anxiety attack after with how tight, small and the amount of people they allow in the waiting room. Mississauga/Queensway: They do not rush you in any way, very large space for the operation/waiting room, it's quiet, very accommodating staff. The only downside I will say is the INTERNAL-ULTRASOUND TECH here is WAYYYY to aggressive with the wand in how deep and strong she inserts it. This ONE DOES FANTASTIC WORK!!!!! *** For Reference I got the procedure in Mississauga in the September of 2018 and the Bloor West Procedure in June 2019.
