The Doctor's - Cool stuff - Medical Cannabis Referrals Near Me - Los Angeles, California

Very convenient and professional .Great prices.. Visit for renewal paperwork. Quick and easy.

Terrible customer service. Irregular office hours. They don't always answer the phone. Inconsistent pricing. We had a terrible experience here. We want to The Doctors to get an ESA letter for my wife and our dog. First of all, it was a nightmare trying to get a hold of anyone. Then, they were closed when they were supposed to be open. Eventually we had to go to the OTHER location. When we got there they tried to change the price on us. The receptionist had to "call" someone and confirm the price. Then, when all was said and done, we still haven't received everything we paid for. We paid for the letter (which we got), but never received the ESA card, which they said they would "mail to us." That we paid extra for. When we called and asked they said they had no record of us paying for it (even though our invoice shows a higher payment amount than the price they quoted us), and there's no line item on the invoice for the ESA card. We honestly feel like we got ripped off. I'd love to talk to someone in "management" to get this sorted out, but (as mentioned) they're never open, and they don't answer their phones. read more

I would definitely recommend and plan to recommend the doctors to family members and plan to recommend the Doctor's to family and friend. If you're looking for a judgement free zone and an easy safe way to obtain a medical marijuana card i definitely recommend this place read more

good service and very easy to find, very nice people who work with you! the care was good

Called to verify the price to renew , guy says its 40.00 I say to renew? He proceeds to tell me how much gas and rent went up., like I dont know.add astronomical taxes on cannabis to that. So I needed to renew I get there and at the front desk a Hispanic girl says that will be 60.00 !!!!!! I tell her he told me over the phone it was 40.00? She says oh , he quoted you ? Ok its 40.00. WILL NOT COME BACK HERE. TOTAL CROOKS read more

Very nice when I called and was told I can walk in very nice front desk and no wait at all very fast and efficient and puppy friendly! I highly recommend the doctors if you need your medical recommendation or renewal read more

SKETCHY BAIT & SWITCH! These folks advertise a $25 renewal. When it's all said and done and you're ready to pay for your paperwork the guy gives you some BS about how that price expired "yesterday" and now it's $40. When you give him push-back he decides he'll make an exception and give you a deal at $30. He'll do this every single time, same load of crap routine no matter when you go. I called the number on their business license and spoke to a guy called Jack who gave me a completely different line about why they don't honor their ad, in addition to a sob story about paying their staff and bills and doctors - none of which addresses or excuses their shady practice. I realize the owners don't care about my one little review, but I can only guess that if even half the people who get this treatment leave without paying, as I did, after getting the bait and switch, Jack might consider changing the hella dodgy song and dance regarding their ad. If they'd been on the up and up from the beginning, I'd have happily paid the $40 and called it a day. Instead I wasted their time and resources and took my cash elsewhere. read more

I absolutely love this place, I've been coming here for 5 years and they are fast, efficient and friendly .

Came here with my boyfriend who hasn't been sleeping well for the past couple of months. We looked this place up on google and came in. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Can't thank this place enough! Well be coming back here for renewals! THANK YOU @ THE DOCTORS! read more

The worst bait and switch ever. I had got my recommendation last year from this location. They sent me a text yesterday reminding me to renew my rec (as it expired on 4/27) and the renewal would be $30 and to make sure I mention Jane for no waiting. Well I came in today (4/28) and waited at the window for a solid 6 minutes before the receptionist (who was chatting with the "doctor") to even turn and say anything to me. Before I could mention my renewal she said sign in and wait. Another 10 minutes goes by and she calls me up. I actually had a renewal coupon for $25 (which was 5 less than the text they sent) so I handed it to her with my old rec. She said it would be $10 more because my rec was expired. Total scam. you have 30 days from your rec expiring to get a renewal. Who would get their rec renewed when it hasn't expired. I then mentioned the $30 renewal that was in the text. She said it would still be an extra $10 on top of it. This is bait and switch at its finest. If you feel like being scammed, having someone take your money, or love being ripped off than you should totally visit The Doctor's read more

Bait and switch.....rip-off alert! Went in today with my ad for $35 new patient eval. I was told that price was for three months only, after that you have to renew. The ad didn't mention this at all. I left and went to the doctor on Laurel Canyon in North Hollywood. I got a $40 eval. and left happy with my certificate. read more

Worst medical service ever. The doctor is an old weirdo. You have to justify why you deserve a rec her e!!! The location is sketchy and it's $55 for renewals. Its just $40 down the street pal !!! The doctor was very condesending and made me very uncomfortable during our conversation. He kept asking weird questions, going in circles. Will nvr come back to this place. read more

This place is HORRIBLE. First off, their website, street sign, and inside all say different prices. THERE IS A REASON FOR THIS! After asking them on facebook why I was charged $60 after it CLEARLY says a different price on the website they said and I quote "closed mouth doesn't get fed when you come to get your food" HORRENDOUS place. The guy who wrote a review before me was SPOT ON. These guys are money hungry a-holes and are the type of people who need to be put on blast and removed from the cannabis industry. There are too many good doctors out there for places like this to remain open. Here is a link to the Facebook post with the entire conversation I had with them copied and pasted on it. https://www.facebook.com/ngaulin/posts/10100692722371193 Read and come to a conclusion for yourselves. Then as i'm sure you'll come to the conclusion these people are crooks i'm sure you'll look for a different doctor. I will also be contacting the BBB. read more

I came here after going to my "former usual renewal spot" who started falsly advertising one fee, then "requring" you pay for the card and charging another fee once you got there. My problem with that was, if you "require" that the card come with the evaluation and certificate, then build it into the price, don't add it on as a surprise fee after it's all said and done! Back to this place, they advertise their prices honestly and straightforward online, the card was separate (for now) and I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. Friendly front office staff, super adorable older gentleman doctor and convenient street parking with meter on Highland just below Sunset. Totally affordable. Good job! Thanks guys. read more

Great place to get your recommendation. They treat you as a valued patient. The front desk guy is very friendly and the doctor was very professional. He went through my medical history, and made some great suggestions like some over the counter meds and acupuncture. This is my 3rd year here, I tried the other place on Reseda, and gave them one star. .. Do yourself a favor and come to this one, toy won't be disappointed. read more

This is a fantastic place to get a medical marijuana recommendation! They are professional, friendly, and the prices are very reasonable. I've gone here for a few years now and have enjoyed the experience every time. If you get there before 3pm, there's usually parking right up front. It's metered, but the convenience is worth a little loose change. read more

Okay service and prices. Helpful staff and good location I found for my friends and family.

Wow!!! Love it here!!! Since you only go once a year - I've been to 3 different onces! This is my 4th place and I'm sooooo happy I came here! The service is amazing! It's clean and not ghetto at all! The guy in the front was so sweet and helpful, not impolite and unhelpful! My physician was Theodore Schlater M.D. He was so kind and didn't just ask me questions and checked off everything without even looking at me! Spend like 10 min with him! Getting so much great information, since I don't like taking Medecin.. I could go on! But he was defiantly someone who cared about me and not just the money!! Thank you guys! See you next year for sure! read more

Love these guys. In n out no problems. Parking is great as well, which can be a pain in this area. Would definitely recommend.

Hi, well I have to say, that this is place is great. I've never had any problems there, other than a minor dispute over a price (instead of $25, I was charged$30 but I had looked at an expired ad) for a renewal. That said I've renewed 3x there and $30 was the most I paid, both previous times was $25. My rec has never been declined. Don't bother with the ID, you don't need it as most places don't accept it. BEST place in Los Angeles to get medical marijuana cards and my wife can also get her ESA license here. Friendly staff. Only place to go to.

I have literally been coming here for over two years. Paul has helped me both times and has been so nice, caring and easy going. Service is always quick and easy. I trust them 100% and will continue to come back here as long as I live in Los Angeles! This is the place you want to go to. I promise. read more

They advertised a "May Special" to get a new license for $35. Went in on 5/29 and was told the owners were no longer allowing that price. The guy working there was super nice and it clearly isn't his fault, but it is 100% false advertising. I even had the newspaper clipping/coupon in hand and was going to have to pay full price for the license. I'm not opposed to paying full price- but I am opposed to BS promotional deals. read more

I was pretty happy with service to get my initial recommendation but follow up service was rude and a SCAM. I lost my paper and they want to charge me $20 for a reprint... almost the same price as my renewal recommendation in the first place. $20 for a printed piece of paper? Also they wouldn't help me look up my recommendation record for confirmation from the dispensary. Forced me to come in and buy the $20 printout. I will not return here, I'll spend that $20 toward a new recommendation from a different place that values their customers. read more
