He has a marvelous…read morebedside manner that includes a hearty greeting every time and an enduring smile and twinkle in the eye. He was refreshingly high-spirited, which could set any nervous patient at ease, but appropriately austere when explaining the medical condition, procedures, and options. His Pres office has all the delightful parking inconveniences of a major hospital, but is easy to access on the fourth floor once you get inside. It's clean and tidy, and care is prompt. I never waited more than a couple minutes for my scheduled visits. The clinic staff are all very pleasant and cheery -- the... intake nurse? receptionist? not sure what the appropriate title is for the first contact at the reception desk... always greeted me sweetly and set a cheerful tone, and the nurses were equally pleasant. The schedulers, patient liaisons who called for the pre-op rigor morale, everyone really whom I interacted with regarding this procedure were simply lovely. It seemed like they were generally happy to work for this guy, which inevitably creates a positive environment for patients/customers. He does the surgical procedures at Kaseman, which is much easier and immediate access from your car. Again, these staff are positively lovely! From the receptionists to the nurses and everyone in between, everyone who interacted with me, when finding out Onyia was my surgeon said "Oh, I just LOVE him! You're in wonderful hands!" I think it really says a lot about a person when their colleagues are that fond of them, and a lot about a doctor when their staff are genuinely happy being at work. To boot, he's clearly very experienced at this gig. any time mention of the procedure duration came up, it was always "well, it's a 45 minute procedure but he'll be done well before that." I highly recommend fixing that septum if you haven't breathed through your nostrils in 20 years, and I highly recommend this provider for doing so.

Based on one initial visit …read more.. It took 3 months to get in to see Dr. Adams and I waited patiently. His practice seems to be quite busy but my impression all around was good. I arrived early, completed my medical history, and was directly escorted to an exam room. A tech did initial tests while audio transcribing results = efficiency. My eyes were dilated and I was asked to wait for the doc. He popped in after a few minutes to say "sorry for the wait, I will be with you shortly". That was considerate. His exam was a bit brief but he confirmed that I need cataract surgery. He provided me with some literature to read and provided a recommendation to another DO for a surgery consult. He even asked the receptionist to call and make the appt for me. My appt is in 1 week. My only slight disappointment was learning from Dr. Adams that he no longer does cataract surgery himself. I will consider Dr. Adams for future eye exams.

We started going to Dr. Algermissen in the Nineties, on the recommendation of pretty much an entire law firm we knew and respected (most of them are patients here) and we've never regretted it a minute: Dr. Algermissen is the most gentle, kind and professional dentist I've had in almost sixty years. Tammy, well - she made every visit seem more like lunch with an old friend than the grim dental struggles from which I was always so grateful to escape when I was young. And Merilee, Roicelynn and every other staff person make certain that all questions get answered, reminders sent and every visit is like walking into a family member's living room - smiling all the while. Wonderful. Oh, and they've kept my teeth perfect. Yay! Our hygienist friend Tammy has retired (well earned) and now Ms. Taylor has stepped into her shoes - every bit as professional, vital and genial. And there's a second Dr. Algermissen who's joined the practice: Dr. Tony's daughter! My wife and I are looking forward to many more years visiting these gracious folks.
