This is one of my highlights while visiting Notting Hill. I went Saturday to Portobello Road market and after a few hours of walking around needed a place to get off my feet. The Distillery was the perfect spot. It had several different floors depending on what you like to drink. I was there for lunch so I opted to stay on the first floor. I ordered the truffle mac and cheese and a salad and while I know some of the review say the food isn't outstanding, the portions are large. The food here does the trick and the menu has a lot of variety especially for lunch time. I also went with the Sherbert Lemon Sour. I don't typically drink gin so I asked for recommendations and my server was so helpful. She recommended this drink and I have to say it's one of the best I had while in London. Really looking forward to getting back to London and visiting here again.

I did a poor job of taking enough photos. There's a lot of beautiful history in this building - ask for the tour. I'm heir knowledge is stellar and they are happy to take you through tasting their spirits before you choose one (or more) to focus on

    Avocado toast with flair!

Grabbed lunch at this eatery in the heart of the Portobello Market. While it is a distillery, we only wanted food and were very pleased with our meal. I ordered the avocado toast and added a soft boiled egg. It was terrific! My partner had the Apple pie and ice cream and said it ranked right up there with some of the best he has eaten. Service was a bit slow but the ambiance made up for it and we enjoyed ourselves!

Great new place by the Portobello Road gin people. My friend and I went to the Gin Tonica floor which reflect the Spanish tapas bars vibe. The food is good not exceptional but still enjoyable. I really liked the baccalau (salted cod) and the morcilla with an egg (which was very stylish). The G&T are serve in my favourite style of glasses: the copa! They don't have as an extensive list as the likes of Mr Fogg's but they have loads of very unusual gins which would satisfy any G&T afficionados! If there was one let down is that the service (which started perfectly) went a bit downhill towards the middle end of the night (extreme slowness) The waitress did apologise but it felt quite mechanical. Anyhow I still really enjoyed the place, there is room for improvement but Im sure it will only go better and better!

Of all the Gin and Tonics had on my trip to London this spot had the most delectable, and has converted into a gin lover! So many different combinations with simple garnishes, really make the varying gin and tonics pop! Awesome vibe and a great spot to take a break from the chaos of the Portabello Market. If you can try and grab a spot upstairs at Gintonica, our bartender Frank was such a blast to talk to, and was so knowledgeable! Would highly recommend!

A pub/restaurant near the Portobello market. The menu is limited consisted of small and large plates. It's quite busy with some seating in the back. We had to wait about ten minutes to get a table. The staff was friendly and helpful.

    Amazing!
