So I bought one of these stills after searching for a few companies, I decided to go with tdn because it was so in-depth the customer support is great and most importantly the product is in good condition, I know there are a few reviews out there that have complained about shipping times and spotty delivery. Any items usually purchased are not damaged from the manufacturer as they test every componet out after they put it togetether to make sure it works. It does take a bit to get to you but this is because of two huge factors, its being hand tested and its hand crafted it dont roll off a machine its all done by hand so it allows for any mishaps or messups to be readily fixed, most poor shipping is due to the deluvery service used and not the company itself. I tried and tested my still and she works beyond great and I'm looking to buy smaller ones in the future. Jon is a top notch guy. I ordered a distillation unit from Amazon sold buy him. I was convinced that I got a smaller unit then I ordered. I contacted him almost a year later. Because it was that long before I took it out box. And he went out of his way to try to make sure I got the correct size I ordered. Mind you it was almost a year after I ordered it. And he was still willing to make it right by me! Come to find out. That it was the correct size I ordered. And his distillation units are by far the best I have ordered. I have ordered another distillation unit from another company. And it is very flimsy and by far no way near the quality of The distillery network distillation unit! And like I said. I am a very happy, satisfied, content and proud owner of one of the nicest and we'll built stills ever produced. I have had mine for approximately 6 months and have not had any problems with it. Yes improvements could always be made to any product sold, but then again why change something that works great. I have not used my thumper yet and I always get at least 1 gallon from a 5 gallon set and is always around 125 proof average. My product is always clear, smooth and strong without the rock gutt hit at the end. FINALLY got my still from these guys ! Actually I think the storms slowed it down. Ordered an upgraded everything on mine , a 10 gal still and all the plumbing is 3/4" with the bigger thumper and worm kit. even the worm tube is 3/8" . It's awesome , big n beefy shiney copper still is what I told them I wanted and Jon (the owner) walked me through what I was looking to make as far as a product and I wound up with the ten gallon to match my idea with the bigger plumbing. Very good quality materials used in making these stills I must say. Everything was shipped really well and tight, literally turn key out of the box if you know what you are doing. The only problem I had was the time it took to get it, it was during Christmas though and I was probably a little more ancy to get the still than I should have been. First of all, don't mind the trolls, Jon has a lot of enemies who send out their troll armies to smear him, because they consider him a "Yankee." They literally send their guys out all the time on Facebook to talk trash. I've bought the Flame Flow still for myself last year and then another for my friend's birthday recently. Jon and his team are top notch! I ordered the 6 Gallon system with an upgraded thumper and Parrot during the December '17 rush. Between, the Holidays and the snow/ice storms, I still received the bright and shiny system within 3 weeks here in North Carolina. I purchased a 30 gallon kit. The directions are straight forward and you do have to do some modifcations which are no big deal. It took a bit longer to get but Jon kept me informed and was backed up. All in all a pretty good product and project. Its also 20gauge copper. read more
