Based on our server's recommendation, I ordered the shrimp bombs for the table and the fried catfish plate for my main course. Both dishes were good and met my expectations. Our server was also very friendly and attentive throughout the meal. She mentioned that the restaurant will be introducing a brunch menu next month. Overall, I had a pleasant experience at Co/Op. The food was enjoyable and met my expectations, the service was friendly, and the clean, quiet atmosphere was particularly well suited to a Sunday afternoon lunch. The fry was great on the cake. The flavor was a little lost. I thought initially it was the tartar that overpowered the cake and that is partially true. I did try a bite without the tartar and it was still a tad on the bland side. The wings had a great fry and smoke flavor as well. They were a bit overcooked and dry. The Alabama sauce was real good and added needed moisture to the wings. The breading appeared to be fairly heavy, ie the bread to meat ratio was on the bread side. The service was good and very fast, there were just some execution challenges for the food. The menu is real interesting and I'm willing to try some of the other offerings on another visit.

The bar whether you are inside of out is a great addition to the dark wood decor you see in New Orleans on Bourbon Street. It boasts live music most evenings, which adds to the vibe of the bar. Some parts were maybe room temperature but the majority of the rib was cold. Our waitress was even surprised how fast it came out because it normally takes a lot longer to heat up. I got a cup of chicken and sausage gumbo instead of the two sides the rib came with. The rice was undercooked and crunchy. Not much flavor to it but they do have a few hot sauces on the table to use. We also ordered the Cajun red snapper, mashed potatoes, and Brussels sprouts with bacon. The red snapper was good and full of flavor. The mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts lacked flavor and anytime of seasonings. Our waitress was great. She had the same two sides and also said a bit more rice would have been nice.
