    Engagement ring
    Sarah M.

As a Denver transplant, I had my reservations about finding a trusted Diamond jeweler here. The Diamond Reserve is the place to go! They are so welcoming and supportive and easy to work with. We worked with Perrin who has made all of our ring dreams come true. We absolutely recommend the Diamond Reserve!

My fiancé and I worked with Erin and I have nothing but amazing things to say about our entire experience. Erin worked with us via email to get an idea of what type of diamond I wanted, and had an assortment to show us when we went in for our appointment. She was extremely knowledgeable and respectful of our budget. I never once felt pressured to spend more than we were comfortable with. Erin took the time to explain the basics of diamond education and identified which qualities we're most important to me in a diamond. After we picked our center stone, Erin immediately went to work and began designing my engagement ring. She designed a perfect ring (and did not get upset at my indecisiveness, I probably went back on forward on small details at least four times!) and it arrived after just a few short weeks. I couldn't be happier with how my engagement ring turned out and wouldn't dream of going anywhere else for my wedding band!

My fiancé and I didn't want to go the traditional route of engagement ring shopping and decided to do it together. We quickly realized we wanted a custom ring. Having worked at Zales for a year I had no interest in low quality diamonds and mass produced products. An engagement ring is an investment and Kaeleigh helped us decide from the best quality. It was literally so hard to choose which diamond was better, because they were ALL so flawless. Kaeleigh was so knowledgeable and warm to work with it took all the pressure off not knowing exactly what we were looking for or even what size diamond. Because of Kaeleighs exceptional service we are returning for a custom wedding band. Kaeleigh will always be our go to! I'm excited for the many anniversaries to come that we will be working with her!

I could not be happier with the experience. Yaneev was top class from the minute I walked in. He was extremely knowledgeable and was great to work with while getting fitted for my wedding suit. The suit itself fits me perfectly and is by far the nicest suit I have ever put on. This place is the real deal. Highly suggest using them if you need a high quality suit and experience to go along with it. I

Example of a RC ring with "flush" halo. Notice the gap you can see between the center stone & the halo if you look at the side.

I entered working with Diamond Reserve (DR) excited to have found a quality local custom jeweler that is female owned. The person we met with was caring & confident they could help me create a new engagement ring. I didn't have an exact design in mind, so knew I needed help in that area. The only thing I knew was that I wanted a halo in some form that sat flush to the center stone. I was promised that this was all achievable. Unfortunately, this turned out to be a lie that took 6 month of back and forth before i got a clear enough answer to actually cut my loses & walk away. During this time, Erin was always friendly but never actually took initiative in helping to create any designs; the promise of which was a large reason we chose DR to begin with. Each round went as follows: I would scour the internet to come up with a new idea & present it to Erin -- I would be told this was great and should totally work -- Wait a week or so for a new rendering (several of which had mistakes that I was the only one to notice) -- In looking at the rendering it would still show a gap between the center stone & the halo -- given some reason why this was & then have to start all over. As my concern grew & my design ideas kept being simplified to achieve my goal, Erin had me come in to look at a wax mold and some example rings. All of these continued to show a gap & Erin began telling me this was as close as it could be and that all rings have this gap. She told me to trust that the benchman would get it "as close as possible." This just didn't sit right, so I reached out to custom jewelers I follow on IG, including showing them photos I had taken at DR. I was reassured by at least 6 jewelers that their rings have no gap at all & that what I was being told was the limit to flush just wasn't true. I shared this information with Erin, who remained steadfast that she was right & that what these others were telling me made no sense. I finally decided to listen to my gut & switch to a new jeweler. Unfortunately I still had to purchase my diamond through RC because they refused to return my deposit despite the fact that they couldn't deliver on the ring they promised. Do yourself a favor & don't give them as many chances to get it right as I did. There are plenty of great female owned custom jewelers out there. Pros: -nice people -lab grown diamonds at a fair price -good choice if looking for a solitaire design Cons: -have to put 50% down before you ever actually see a design -not ring designers -- i had to bring ideas for them to work from -turn around time for renderings can be over a week & often include mistakes that require additional time for correcting -lack of attention to detail shown in rendering mistakes & other experiences -rendering software isn't the best in terms of realism -try to sell you on a false idea of what it means for a halo to be flush -inflexible in refunding money if they can't do what you've asked for & they've promised they can deliver -showed up to appt to pick up another piece of jewelry i know longer wanted them to work on & they didn't have it ready even though meeting had been rescheduled already giving them more time

I went back and forth on whether to post a review, but it's been a few months and I'm still appalled. I took my ring in to get resized as well as purchase a custom wedding band. The wedding band came out great. When they resized my engagement ring they took it from a 5 and a half to a 6. To do this it was as if the benchmen stretched the metal and my ring ended up tapered. I asked them to fix it and they said they would. I then drove back to cherry creek (30 mins each way) a few weeks later to find out they hadn't fixed it. When I told them again that it was not right, they accused me of not knowing my ring. They said it must have been tapered to begin with, asked if it was a mass produced ring (it was not - it is from a prestigious New York City jeweler), and said that their benchmen "wouldn't do this in a million years." Well, he did. They did offer to fix it again, but at that point I was tired of the 1 hour round trip drive and being treated rudely. I got it fixed with another jeweler. They did refund me for the resize. I also know that they offer discounts for positive reviews.

LOVE LOVE LOVE The Diamond Reserve. I went in one day and spoke with Kaeleigh about rings and what I was looking for. She was super fun to work with, very helpful, and really got to know me and what I liked most. As soon as my fiancé went in to speak with her about putting one together she took it all from there and built the most beautiful ring. My fiancé said it was the easiest process and had all the confidence in her as she knew exactly what she was doing. He provided the diamond (passed down from my grandmother) but she put together the rest and it came out PERFECT. I'm so happy with it and loved working with her! Thank you Kaeleigh!!

Kaeleigh is wonderful. She goes above and beyond and she's not your typical jewelry salesman/woman. She takes the time to get to know you and your wants and will make sure you are happy no matter what. Absolutely loved my experience with her and Erin. They really know their stuff and are very kind and honest which really made the whole process simple and easy. Highly recommended!!!

The Diamond Reserve created a unique beautiful ring that she loves!

Kaeleigh and the Diamond Reserve were so helpful helping me design a one of a kind ring for my future wife. I had a very unique design that I didn't even know would be possible, but The Diamond Reserve helped me through every step of the way. They sent computer images of the ring as we worked though the design and we finalized the ring within weeks. It was on my Ffancee's finger in about a month! I'm so happy that we were able to create a one of a kind, reasonably priced ring that will be an heirloom for generations!

She was very thorough in her work. we came on a recommendation from another couple (friends) and Sarah O. did not disappoint. We have been there previously to buy a necklace and we had a similar experience with whoever helped us that day. thank you Isabella and thank you Sarah O!

Not worth it if you want a ring made properly…read more My sister got her engagement/wedding rings from Sarah O back when they were newer- and I love their designs so I had said for 5 years I wanted my rings from here. My fiancé bought me the Nova ring and proposed 12/22. 12/23 I took a closer look and saw that the prongs on my center stone were FAR from flush on the stone (see pictures, iPhone cameras are wild). Which is a problem because if they snag on clothes or furniture the prongs bend more and the stone can loosen and fall out. On top of that one of the halo stones was loose (video). On a BRAND NEW, never worn ring. We took it to Sarah O and they admitted fault and said of course they'de repair the ring- under the limited warranty it was all covered, but it will take 3-4 weeks. Bummer.. but glad the solution was simple no pushback... Don't underestimate how disappointing it is to tell all of your loved ones you are engaged and everyone says where is the ring, they reach for your hand and there's nothing there. I 3 weeks go by and I get the ring back, Prongs on the main stone were fixed.... But the loose halo stone... they smushed the setting from the top in order to secure the mele stone- causing the sides to fan out creating a gap from the sides of the setting to the diamond. Which ruined the symmetry of the ring and disrupted the sparkle of the halo diamonds because of the way it was sitting. (See photos) Devastated. Emailed with the new problem was told "we had professional jewelers quality check the ring so the stone is secure but if you want to we can fix this for you, we will rush it so it's done in 1 week"... Quality check the ring??? I know I said I wanted the stone secured and not loose, I didn't assume I'd have to specify that professional jewelers should fix it the right way...... I send it back. Next day, I get a call from our customer support contact.... Tells me that manipulating the metal in this way would ruin the integrity of that setting, more likely to bend and fail holding the stone- so they're recommending that they completely recast the ring. However - that will take 6 weeks. If I don't want to wait that long they can send the flawed ring back as is... assuring me the stone is secure... but what they didn't say is that- that would mean that if the stone ever fell out due to normal wear and tear ... to have it fixed they would still need to recast the ring but my warranty would probably be expired and I'd have to pay for it. So I sent it back. Nearly 6 weeks go by and I email to check on my rings status. They say it'll be done "the week of the 23rd." So that means it could be done on FRIDAY of that week when it should be done Friday the week prior - that is 6 weeks- and you should be mailing it to me ON the 23rd - you've had 6 WEEKS!!! The "week of the 23rd is 7 WEEKS" and if it isn't done until Friday that means you'll be mailing it to me the next week and be pushing 8 weeks! So I sent an email detailing exactly what I just said. And lone behold they were able to ship the ring to me the next day. I recieved it and checked it 5xs over and it seems to be fixed. Fixed so well I'm seeing flaws from the previous ring I never even pointed out were fixed: My V prongs apparently were very sloppily made the first time (see last picture) lol. Honestly comical now. They gave us a 25% discount code to compensate us for the trouble to use towards a wedding band- because we asked for it we felt like we should get something, they didn't initiate this offer- but I'm not sure I want to purchase from them again anyway. Besides they had a Black Friday sale for 20% off in November so it doesn't particularly feel like a fair recompense for being without my ring for 3 months. The good news is the Sarah O team was always very responsive and respectful and owned their mistakes. -denial would've been much worse. Just very unfortunate that it takes so much advocacy and the fact that you as a non-professional really have to double check their work and make them do it right rather than them doing it right the first time. We have a family friend who also purchased their engagement ring from here within the past year or so and while they didn't have the same construction issues their ring was A MONTH DELAYED. They had to replan their whole engagement plan. And as I mentioned my sister got her rings from here years ago and hasn't had a problem, hasn't lost a stone so. ‍ idk maybe their production system changed. I like my ring- but I bet I could find a ring I like just as much elsewhere. That's what I suggest you do. ..... Will update this review should the longevity of my ring turn out to be an issue.

When they mentioned the jeweler using the cad program, they told me that to set each stone is $100. I find this crazy given the quote from the place we visited after this. They also recommended I bring more gold in as trade when the other jeweler said the gold from my original ring && 1 other was more than sufficient to have my new ring made. Lastly, what the biggest standout was for me on service was the second jeweler I visited was very professional & even came down from his work space to look at my stones w/me as.
