The Diamond Reserve

Not worth it if you want a ring made properly…read more My sister got her engagement/wedding rings from Sarah O back when they were newer- and I love their designs so I had said for 5 years I wanted my rings from here. My fiancé bought me the Nova ring and proposed 12/22. 12/23 I took a closer look and saw that the prongs on my center stone were FAR from flush on the stone (see pictures, iPhone cameras are wild). Which is a problem because if they snag on clothes or furniture the prongs bend more and the stone can loosen and fall out. On top of that one of the halo stones was loose (video). On a BRAND NEW, never worn ring. We took it to Sarah O and they admitted fault and said of course they'de repair the ring- under the limited warranty it was all covered, but it will take 3-4 weeks. Bummer.. but glad the solution was simple no pushback... Don't underestimate how disappointing it is to tell all of your loved ones you are engaged and everyone says where is the ring, they reach for your hand and there's nothing there. I 3 weeks go by and I get the ring back, Prongs on the main stone were fixed.... But the loose halo stone... they smushed the setting from the top in order to secure the mele stone- causing the sides to fan out creating a gap from the sides of the setting to the diamond. Which ruined the symmetry of the ring and disrupted the sparkle of the halo diamonds because of the way it was sitting. (See photos) Devastated. Emailed with the new problem was told "we had professional jewelers quality check the ring so the stone is secure but if you want to we can fix this for you, we will rush it so it's done in 1 week"... Quality check the ring??? I know I said I wanted the stone secured and not loose, I didn't assume I'd have to specify that professional jewelers should fix it the right way...... I send it back. Next day, I get a call from our customer support contact.... Tells me that manipulating the metal in this way would ruin the integrity of that setting, more likely to bend and fail holding the stone- so they're recommending that they completely recast the ring. However - that will take 6 weeks. If I don't want to wait that long they can send the flawed ring back as is... assuring me the stone is secure... but what they didn't say is that- that would mean that if the stone ever fell out due to normal wear and tear ... to have it fixed they would still need to recast the ring but my warranty would probably be expired and I'd have to pay for it. So I sent it back. Nearly 6 weeks go by and I email to check on my rings status. They say it'll be done "the week of the 23rd." So that means it could be done on FRIDAY of that week when it should be done Friday the week prior - that is 6 weeks- and you should be mailing it to me ON the 23rd - you've had 6 WEEKS!!! The "week of the 23rd is 7 WEEKS" and if it isn't done until Friday that means you'll be mailing it to me the next week and be pushing 8 weeks! So I sent an email detailing exactly what I just said. And lone behold they were able to ship the ring to me the next day. I recieved it and checked it 5xs over and it seems to be fixed. Fixed so well I'm seeing flaws from the previous ring I never even pointed out were fixed: My V prongs apparently were very sloppily made the first time (see last picture) lol. Honestly comical now. They gave us a 25% discount code to compensate us for the trouble to use towards a wedding band- because we asked for it we felt like we should get something, they didn't initiate this offer- but I'm not sure I want to purchase from them again anyway. Besides they had a Black Friday sale for 20% off in November so it doesn't particularly feel like a fair recompense for being without my ring for 3 months. The good news is the Sarah O team was always very responsive and respectful and owned their mistakes. -denial would've been much worse. Just very unfortunate that it takes so much advocacy and the fact that you as a non-professional really have to double check their work and make them do it right rather than them doing it right the first time. We have a family friend who also purchased their engagement ring from here within the past year or so and while they didn't have the same construction issues their ring was A MONTH DELAYED. They had to replan their whole engagement plan. And as I mentioned my sister got her rings from here years ago and hasn't had a problem, hasn't lost a stone so. ‍ idk maybe their production system changed. I like my ring- but I bet I could find a ring I like just as much elsewhere. That's what I suggest you do. ..... Will update this review should the longevity of my ring turn out to be an issue.

*Update 5/12/25- After receiving my ring back a final time, another tool mark was left on the ring,…read moremaking two dents in my setting. Sarah O acknowledged that this was their mistake, but did not agree to provide compensation for this damage to my ring to have it reset. They did refund less than $200 for previous ineffective repairs. They asked me to send it back again, but I do not trust their jewelers to remedy the issue and not cause further damage. After flying to Denver twice to design my custom engagement ring, I experienced multiple failures: -A diamond fell out of my wedding band within six days of our wedding. -A few months later, the center stone fell out of my engagement ring. -Sharp, uneven prongs continued to catch on clothing even after paid repairs. -Tool marks left on setting when sent in for repairs. I treated my rings with extreme care: I work from home, remove them for pottery, cleaning, sleeping, and even casual activities. Despite this, Sarah O repeatedly blamed user wear and charged us for repairs -- never fully taking ownership of the underlying quality issues. This level of workmanship is unacceptable for custom bridal jewelry at this price point. Consulting with friends who have worn their engagement rings daily for over a decade without a single structural failure only further confirmed how unusual and disappointing this situation is. Being told that even hair catching on the prongs could cause bending was another sign that the ring was not built for everyday life. At this point, we have made the decision to fully reset the ring with a reputable local jeweler to protect the stone and finally have a piece that will last. While the designs at Sarah O are beautiful, our experience was frustrating, costly, and disappointing. I cannot recommend them for anyone looking for durable, high-quality jewelry built for real life.

The Diamond Reserve is a great business where the people truly care about what you want. I walked in to The Diamond Reserve to get an engagement ring with no information and zero knowledge about diamonds, prices, jewelry or anything. Purchasing an engagement rings means that you are investing for life, because the first impression is a last impression. It's probably an ideal situation that drives most people crazy. I was lucky enough to meet with Mark Hadley, who did a marvelous job of taking me through what I was looking for. He spent a lot of time with me to teach me about diamond rings, their characteristics and styles. He showed me so many diamonds, with different clarities, colors, shapes, and sizes, until I found one that was perfect for me. In my head I was thinking about the cost. I was thinking that the cost of the rings will be very high and out of my range but when the fearful time came and I was ready to see how much this ring was going to cost me, I was shocked that it came in under my budget. He never tried to pressurize me to spend more money, and I walked out from The Diamond Reserve extremely happy with what I got. At The Diamond Reserve, they take the time to get to know you, your requirements and who you are giving the ring to. It was a pleasure to working with Mark and the family of staff here during such a stressful time. He has the patience of a saint and is truly the nicest person ever. I am so lucky to have found such amazing jewelers! I look forward to continuing our (me and my fiancée) relationship with The Diamond Reserve in the future. Every day when I look at my engagement ring, I am in awe of the work they did. I have no extra words to say about their extremely high-quality work and how great they made us (me and my fiancée) feel. We are definitely their customers for life! read more

I purchased an engagement ring from The Diamond Reserve and will be recommending all of my friends to do the same when the time comes. Erin was absolutely fantastic to work with and made what could have been an extremely stressful experience much easier. I (like most men) had no idea what to look for in a ring. I really appreciate that she took the time to educate me: she answered all my questions, showed me examples of the differences in the 4Cs (yes guys, turns out there are a lot of factors to consider), asked about my fiance to find the right style of ring, and then provided me with options IN MY BUDGET. I can't stress how nice that was - other jewelers found out I wasn't a jewelry aficionado and tried to up-sell me for something way out of my range. One even tried to guilt trip me. Not Erin - she listened to what was important to me and worked hard to find the perfect diamond. She even looked at other diamonds I was considering from other stores and explained the pros can cons of each. It's that type of thing that made me know I wanted to buy through her. The Diamond Reserve came up with a perfect custom design for my ring, was incredibly quick to respond to all my questions, and turned around the order much faster than I expected. My only complaint is that the box the ring came in was fairly bulky and thus hard to hide during the surprise engagement. That being said, Erin provided me with a few options to resolve that and my fiance loves the box now that I'm not trying to hide it. I'm incredibly thankful I chose The Diamond Reserve and Erin to help me find the right ring. I will absolutely be back for the wedding bands and would highly recommend it (and her) to anyone in need of a great ring! read more

If you are looking for a quality engagement ring, Diamond Reserve is an excellent source. There are unlimited reasons why I love this company but here are three important reasons that you should know. Unlike going to a normal jewelry store, this company provides a unique shopping experience. My wife and I hated it when there were a lot of distractions, people walking around, making a lot of noise while we were seeking for that perfect ring. This company ensured that we were provided with the best service and guidance possible. We scheduled an appointment and we were able to talk with an expert and found EXACTLY what we need. The company's priority is the comfort of each and every customer without the feeling of being rushed. Next reason is that not only they sell high-quality pre-designed rings but they can also make custom-designed rings proposed by the customer. If you can't find the ring that is not currently there, they will ask you question and provide ideas how you can get your perfect ring. Their capacity to make rings is as limitless as your imagination. Last reason is that the ring you purchase has a warranty. So don't worry if the ring you bought is not perfect or has any damages, the manufacturers will repair or replace defective parts for free. There are times when a person cannot fully describe how wonderful an experience is. Our experience while looking for the perfect ring was exceptional. Contact Diamond Reserve now and feel it for yourself. They have their own website and it is http://www.diamondbrokerdenver.com. Their contact information is found on that website. read more

I am now officially engaged! On my birthday, my boyfriend took me on an amazing helicopter ride across the city of Denver. The really amazing part of the ride though was that he proposed to me with a gorgeous engagement ring! The ring is so amazing but unfortunately he didn't know my size before proposing so we had to return to the place where he bought it. The Diamond Reserve graciously sized my ring quickly and beautifully. My fiancé raved about the hospitality and the amazing service that everyone at The Diamond Reserve offered including Mark. They created a custom ring that was exactly what I had been dreaming of. Combining several of the ideas I had told my boyfriend I liked, Mark and his crew created a one of a kind ring that none of my friends have or can even come close to. While we were waiting, we decided to look at wedding bands as well. We were unable to find a wedding band that fit perfectly with my ring since it was custom made, so Mark offered to custom make my wedding band as well. This is truly an amazing place because my fiancé spent a lot of time looking around at other jewelry stores and ultimately was referred to Mark by a friend. Here he discovered that Mark offers great prices and deals on diamonds and rings. The diamond is extremely beautiful and great quality. I don't think my fiancé could have afforded something so beautiful if he had gone somewhere else. We are so grateful for The Diamond Reserve and all they were able to do for us. Now I can't wait to pick up my wedding band! read more

I happened to find this place by chance, or more like by a miracle. I was with my girlfriend and wanted to get an idea of what kind of ring she wanted for our upcoming engagement. After looking for parking in cherry creek for 30 min I happened to park a block away from The Diamond Reserve, it wasn't even on my list of places to look at jewelry in Cherry Creek. I decided to just pop in and see what they were all about. I never ended up going to any other jewelry stores after our visit with Kaeleigh, a very pleasant and knowledgeable employee/ partner/ owner? idk what her position is, but give her a raise and a round of applause. Anything and everything was made available. Great deals on Estate Sale diamonds to 100K+ diamonds, this shop has it all. Custom settings, Great Advice, and Communication. If I have any advice for anyone looking for an engagement ring, it is to go to The Diamond Reserve in Cherry Creek and ask for Kaeleigh. I ended up moving to Raleigh NC 4 months after my engagement. I started shopping for wedding bands at local jewelry stores, and then decided what the heck am I doing I should just get in touch with The Diamond Reserve. Sure enough Kaeleigh answered my email the same day I sent it, and just put together an amazing custom wedding band for me within 2-3 weeks. I was totally scared to purchase an engagement ring. I had never even looked at rings before, and I felt like I had no idea what I was doing. I know a lot of men feel this way so that's why I wanted to get the word out about the greatest and most relaxed place to buy your girlfriend an engagement ring at. The Diamond Reserve is an amazing place. No crowds, no waiting around for a salesperson and no pushy sales people forcing your to buy something. My best friend actually bought his wife's ring here so I felt great about it when I set up my appointment. That was also great, sitting down one on one with a completely knowledgeable and informed individual, Mark, was amazing. He guided be and explained each diamond, setting, and it details at length. He answered all my questions and had no problem comparing diamonds and settings in order to stay within my budget. I was completely amazed at what I was able to afford at The Diamond Reserve, Mark and the staff there were amazing throughout the whole process. And even more importantly, my girlfriend said yes to me and was thrilled with the ring. I have told several buddies about this place and all of us have had the same great experience. I really appreciated everything they did for me and I can't emphasize enough how excited my fiancé was about her ring. read more

An engagement is a very important event in people`s lives and I was looking for the perfect ring. I first started to visit some of the stores across the state but I couldn't find the ring I had in my mind. I was looking for an engagement ring with a simple design, fine quality and two colors but not too shiny, something to draw a subtle attention through refinement. Because I did not have any luck searching the typical stores, I decided to continue my search by checking the online stores. This is because I normally want to see the product with my own eyes before buying it. While browsing I found this website which made me stop and look as it had a simple design, no commercials and no other animations that could take away my focus from the jewelry. I was so impressed about the engagement ring panel with lots of products to choose from. I noticed the ring that was very close to the image in my head and immediately I contacted their customer service to establish a meeting so I could view the ring in person. They replied fast and the information I got was very accurate and professional. I received an explanation about the materials used and how the ring was manufactured. I would recommend this store to those of you who are looking for quality made jewelry and excellent customer support. read more

I can't say enough about this place and the people that work there. When I first began looking for the perfect engagement ring, I felt a bit lost a wound up dealing with people that were more concerned about selling me what they wanted rather than what I wanted. I knew very little about the world of engagement rings and often felt like I was being taken advantage of. After hearing about the Diamond reserve I decided to give them a call. Two days later, Kaeleigh and JP drove two hours to come meet with me and show me a number of different options of stones and settings. I even got to look through one of those jewelry magnifying glass things to pick the perfect diamond. The meeting was private and they really made sure all my questions were answered which gave me confidence that I was working with professionals. We decided on a diamond and a setting and 5 days later I had the ring...delivered!! One of the biggest questions is, "how much?" I couldn't believe that what I would be spending with them wouldn't even get me half of what I was looking at through other jewelers. Im not sure how they did it, but they were able to pull through for me on one of the most nerve-racking purchases of my life. Thanks guys!! read more

Let me just start off my saying Kaeleigh is absolutely amazing! I am a guy who had no prior idea about reputable diamond companies, I stumbled across the Diamond Reserve and thought I would give it a try. The minuet I walked in the door I instantly felt like I was in the presence of someone who was not going to try and sell me, instead Kaeleigh taught me about diamonds, what to look for and what to stay away from. I have to say I did walk into a couple other stores to feel out a vibe and instantly was turned off because I didn't get the same feel as I did with the Diamond Reserve. We spent a couple weeks reviewing cuts, sizes and styles, which helped me feel as confident in my choice as I possibly could be. Kaeleigh helped me come to a decision that I truly thought was the absolute PERFECT ring for my fiancé. After being engaged for over 5 months now, my fiancé still can't get over how beautiful and perfect it is. I would refer Kaeleigh to anyone (friends, family, strangers) shopping for Diamonds or jewelry. We will be going back to search for our wedding bands as well. read more

I did extensive research for my finance's engagement ring before deciding on The Diamond Reserve and I was so glad that I chose it. Their prices are unbeatable and the finished product was amazing. Kaeleigh made every process very enjoyable and was super informative about every aspect of creating the perfect ring. I am a very picky person but Kaeleigh was very patient with me as I looked through multiple diamonds and changed the design of the ring several times before giving the go-ahead to create it. She also gave me some tips and advice when deciding what to change on the ring as well. The ring was created much quicker than I anticipated and looked exactly like the design we created together. Additionally it only took a few days to get the ring back after having it resized. I could not have asked for a better ring-shopping experience and my fiancé is in love with her engagement ring. I would recommend The Diamond Reserve to anyone shopping for a ring in any budget. I will most certainly be back to create a wedding band to match this gorgeous ring. read more

My fiance went to Steve Rosdal at The Diamond Reserve to purchase my engagement ring. After his first visit with Steve he brought me along to help choose my diamond. I was blown away at how many GIA certified diamonds they had and how great the pricing was. We had been to several retail stores in Reno, Nevada and some in Denver, Colorado and the prices were so high, we didn't feel like we were getting expert service, and the overall quality just wasn't there for the pricing. When my fiances brother recommended we visit Steve it was such a blessing! The experience was 5 star from start to finish. Huge selection, all GIA certified, amazing pricing, private shopping, and such an amazing team in the office! They really cared about what I wanted from the diamond to the custom engagement ring. We could not be happier with the diamond, the setting, and especially the price we paid. A big THANK YOU to The Diamond Reserve team for making me a ring that I had always dreamed of, you truly are the REAL DEAL!!! read more

My fiance went to The Diamond Reserve to purchase my engagement ring. I was absolutely thrilled with the ring - it is beyond stunning! Steve from The Diamond Reserve suggested my fiancé sneak on my Pinterest account to see if I had pinned any settings that I liked, which of course I had. The two of them collaborated and created a ring that is so unique to me. I could not believe the amount love and effort that went into creating this ring not only by my fiance, but also by The Diamond Reserve. We recently went in to take a look at wedding band options. I was so impressed with how professional and private the office felt. It was so much better than going into a retail store and dealing with uneducated sales people trying to sell overpriced jewelry. We sat down with Steve, were offered champagne and it was wonderful. The Diamond Reserve has created such an exclusive shopping experience for diamond shopping and fine jewelry... and the pricing is unreal. We will forever be lifetime clients! read more

We had a fantastic experience at the Diamond Reserve. My fiancé wanted to propose with just a diamond, as he knew I wanted to be involved in picking the ring. He had a great time working with Kaleigh to select a diamond. Once he had proposed, we returned together to design my ring. They were very helpful in exchanging the diamond for a different cut, and explained the differences between the options to us (as we know very little about diamonds!) I was able to show Kaleigh a few inspiration pictures, and she helped me narrow down what I liked about them and choose a design for my ring. The ring came in very quickly, even during the busy holiday season. I get constant compliments on my ring. We returned to order our wedding bands last week, and Kaleigh was once again very helpful, this time, in helping my fiancé determine what he wanted in his ring. The owner and the administrator are also warm and friendly. I cannot recommend the Diamond Reserve enough! read more

I had the most amazing experience with The Diamond Reserve. Kaeleigh was amazing to work with and I fully trusted her to guide me through the process and help get the best ring possible. The engagement ring I purchased was perfect and absolutely stunning. Kaeleigh asked me what my budget was and made sure to create a ring that matched the exact amount I wanted to pay. I went into the meeting not knowing anything about diamonds, rings, shapes, etc. She was very knowledgeable and used the process as a teaching moment as well. We went back to purchase our wedding bands and we worked with Kaeleigh's colleague Erin and had an equally amazing experience. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and again made the process of deciding our wedding bands a fun experience. I highly recommend The Diamond Reserve for anyone needing experienced, trustworthy, and knowledgeable people to help you through the process. The products they produce are nothing short of amazing. read more

My fiancée and I spent a lot of time visiting jewelry stores looking for the perfect ring. After we found Steve and Kaeleigh the search was over. Steve did an amazing job helping us to design our ring and then found the perfect diamond at a competitive price. The experience was personal, collaborative and most importantly, fun! Visiting the big jewelry stores is a great way to see what's available, but when it comes time to find the perfect ring I highly recommend meeting with Kaeleigh and Steve. You'll be able to create the ring you want, and because of Steve's knowledge and experience, you'll likely get a larger and higher quality diamond at a much lower price than you'd find elsewhere. We had amazing customer service, had the opportunity to design a custom ring, learn bout the industry, and were able to get a larger and higher quality diamond for less than we would have paid anywhere else. I highly recommend the Diamond Reserve. read more

I received a recommendation from a friend, as I've been searching around for an engagement ring. I made an appointment with The Diamond Reserve House of Diamonds and they were quick to schedule me. The first thing I was looking for was quality. Excellent craftsmanship and time went into making the ring I specified and I was very pleased with how it turned out and so was my wife. It was tailored to my specifications. The price was right in the range I was expecting and looking for, and I received outstanding customer service - when I had questions about the sizing they were quick and had the answers for me right there, they're professionals at what they do. I would highly recommend them. When I did propose to my fiancee, it took her breath away. The ring came out perfect, she gets compliments all the time, which makes me happy also. There isn't anybody that does it better like Mark and I'm thankful for that memorable experience! read more

As someone that knew nothing about diamonds, settings, etc., I tried to learn as much as I could by shopping around several places in and around Denver. Even though I had an idea of what I wanted the ring to look like, let's just say I was very overwhelmed by all of the options (noise) out there. In the end, I am SO glad I went to Diamond Reserve and met with Kaeleigh and her team. From the first one-on-one visit to the last, Kaeleigh was patient with me and insisted on educating, not selling, me on what I was looking at - or what I should buy. It felt like I had my own personal jeweler who I could reach out to at any time through the process and she would answer any questions I had. Since I popped the question, my fiancé has gotten so many compliments on the engagement ring. I would definitely recommend Diamond Reserve to anyone thinking about purchasing jewelry. We will definitely be back! read more

The Diamond Reserve is nothing short of amazing. Both Kaeleigh and Erin are wonderful to work with, responsive, accommodating and make the process of designing wedding and engagement rings as fun as it should be! We came in with a pretty specific engagement ring design in mind and Kaeleigh made it come to life. She is so patient, understanding and a great listener. She designed my dream engagement ring and helped us find the perfect diamond as the centerpiece. She helped educate us and inform our decisions and was fantastic to work with - after all, through this process we spent several hours together! We knew we wanted to design a custom ring and after this experience, I would highly recommend that anyone getting engaged, work with the Diamond Reserve. It is so fun to build your own vision together with experts making the entire experience fun, enjoyable and informative. read more

We ended up custom designing the ring with Maria and she was so helpful! She made everything just right! Not only that, but she helped us understand all the options we had (material choices, stone ratings, etc.) so we could make informed decisions about what to choose. They also had plenty of lab-made options, which is nice if you're open to that.
