The Executive Centre - Prosperity Tower

A terrible company to rent a serviced office from. They will seek every opportunity to overcharge…read moreyou absolutely stunning amounts at the end of your contract. They have a "f off" attitude that enables them to throw ridiculous charges at you and see what sticks. When you're focused on your business, having a distraction like these guys makes zero sense. There are much better operators of serviced offices in Hong Kong
So we rented a tiny little office space from The Executive Centre at 3 Pacific Place in Hong Kong,…read morewhich was fine for our purposes at the time. When it got to a time for us to expand our office, we gave our notice and waited for the repayment of our deposit. The Executive Centre then proceeded to send us a bill for the "reinstatement fee" for getting the office back to its original state. This bill was loaded with numerous unjustifiable "expenses" at ridiculously inflated prices. We got charged, among other things, HK$ 5000 for moving away loose furniture prior to tough up work. Keeping in mind that this office is barely big enough to fit two desks. We got unnecessarily charged for insurance of the contractors, site supervision, pest control etc, on top of the actual touch up painting which on its own was an astronomical HK$ 8000. It's like the bill got padded just enough for them not to have to pay back the deposit, and I'll bet that if the deposit was higher, the bill would have been higher. All in all it leaves a bitter taste in the mouth and years of loyal support counts for nothing. Take you business elsewhere.

Its a nice space to work out of (I love the sundeck when the weather is good). However these days I've been spoilt by the awesomeness that is WeWork (fast wifi, free coffee AND BEER) so my expectations has changed a little. For value for money, I think WeWork still has the edge there. But this is still a good space to hang around and mix it up a little.

They have conference rooms, private office spaces, lounge areas, and an outdoor space for events. You can either pay per day or pay a membership fee to use it on a regular basis. You can work there, hold meetings, or network with other members. In fact, they encourage networking between their members from all branches, including the Wan Chai branch, but also their international branches like Singapore and Bangkok. They have an in-house cafe where they sell coffee, tea, beer, soda, and cake slices. They host regular events like movie nights or tastings which you can check out on their website. Non-members are also able to rent their spaces for their events. The one thing to keep in mind is there is virtually no parking on site. They have like 3 parking spaces in front of their building, which are always taken up. There is currently parking across the street on the construction site, which will go away soon. I suggest you transport here or walk.
