Before the visit, well it was kinda rough. From the first phone call with the receptionist at ext 6100, it wasn't very pleasant. I understand this is a clinic, but I have been to many clinics and none of the Receptionist has ever been so stern, rough and seemingly overwhelmed with their work. I understand that clinics see many people at a time, but this is a small town of Yreka, Ca. Are there really that many patients out here that you customer service skills lacks?! I was in Customer Service and Office work. Both need a certain level of customer service. This Receptionist, I wish I knew her name, lacks it in pretty much every phone call that I have made to them. Maybe she recognized my voice or maybe she is like this with EVERYONE. And if so, I am a little surprised I am the first to rate them. I am new to town, so my directions aren't very good here. She tried giving me all these "landmarks" and even though I explained to her that I am new to town and did not know any landmarks. She continued to list off landmarks. She became very irritated and frustrated at me. It seem to be a chore for her to send me the paperwork to fill out before we had an appointment. Took her about a week or so to send it. When I was told that when something is sent within Yreka, to Yreka, It should only take 2days at most! Usually just 1 day. When I finally went into the clinic, she still wasn't very pleasant. She pretended to be too busy to even acknowledge me at the desk. She half smiled, and said she'd be with me in a sec. This was the first time I seen her in person. Since then, every phone call before the first visit that I made was either her or the voicemail. And she was always preoccupied with other things and made like she didn't want to speak to me. Granted this was the 2nd appointment I had to make for my first visit. I couldn't make the first visit and maybe they are upset by that. Yes its a smalll town and you can't do anything here without anyone knowing. But to treat your clients in such a matter really proves you really don't like them, or just don't care. I mean this is the Health Care Industry and they are supposed to be my care providers. Who really wants to go into a clinic or doctor's office that makes you feel uncomfortable? Especially when you are on disability, on a fixed income and have no choice on other clinics to choose from in a small town. Maybe I shouldn't have moved to such a small town. But I did. So here is my hope. Others will write reviews and hopefully it will change some attitudes and behaviors. For now, I have no choice to go elsewhere so dealing with the cons is a little inevitable. I am sure once they find out who wrote this, it may open me up for more discrimination or poor treatment. But its ok, - I just love Yelp for the outlet! - 0 Stars! Next Time I hear the hype about a place, I will take a little more heed! People warned me about her, I just never believed them! So naturally She lost Karuk 3 Stars for the Total of 2 Stars above! I had the most wonderful dental experience! I needed to get a molar pulled. Unfortunately, this…read moremolar anchored a bridge in my mouth so that meant both the bridge and the molar had to go. I was worried that the front anchoring crowned tooth would have to go too but Dr. Krant was able to save it. The entire experience was painless. He was great with the novocaine. I could not even feel the shots. He regularly spoke to me and explained where he was in the process. I felt confident that he knew what he was doing. I am no coward when it comes to dentistry. I have had a lot of dental work in my life. I have to say, this was by far one of my best dental experiences. I highly recommend Dr. Randy Krant of Evergreen Dental in Yreka, California. The office is nice and bright as well and I was impressed with all the staff.

He explains his treatment plan in easy to understand language. I had six visits over two months that included an oral exam, x-rays, four restorations, and two crowns. The crowns are computer designed in the office then milled and baked in a few minutes. There was almost no initial anesthesia pain and absolutely no procedure pain. I was amazed and pleased with his efficiency. I would give Dr. Langford and his staff a higher rating if I could. Make your appointment now as he is booked out for many weeks.

I was finally able to be seen for a checkup from a different dentist and they said my tooth had been really badly decayed and now I have to have a root canal or an extraction because of it. I had tried calling other dentists around here as well in the past and they said the same thing due to COVID we can't see you or that doesn't sound serious. Even though I said my tooth is hurting extremely bad and my feeling is coming on my tooth and it's broken and it's costing me a lot of pain to where I can't sleep. They acted as though if I was lying. My tooth has gotten so much worse because of it. I am not very happy with this dentistry. Something serious like a tooth is not something to play around with. I had a family member who almost died due to an issue with his tooth. It's sad that a lot of places are using covid as an excuse not to see patients.
