Dr. Gaughan never does any unnecessary dental work and is extremely thorough. There is no dental hygienist at this office, which I also love, as Dr. Gaughan is the only person who ever touches your teeth. I have Celiac Disease, and am extremely limited with what I can ingest, dental products included (gluten hides in everything)! Dr. Gaughan took the time to research all of the products he uses, and he even blends me a special gluten free polish to polish my teeth. I am so happy that Dr. Gaughan is my dentist. I cannot say enough good things about the quality of care I experience at this office. He truly is the best.

Dr. Gaughan was recommended to me and I would totally recommend him in return. the office is really pleasant because it's such a small practice - I think he is the only dentist and his wife is the receptionist. when I went, there was not even a hygienist - Dr. Gaughan did all of the work and was awesome and gentle. AND the exam rooms have a pretty sweet view of Center City. I'm actually looking forward to my next appointment, and I never thought I would say that!

I was in pain, and I needed relief! He was gracious enough to take a look at my tooth and prescribe meds. I truly thank him! A few days later, I ended up in the e-room for intense pain. We called Jersey Dental from the hosp. to make an appointment. I believe they put a female Dentist or whomever on the phone asking me which tooth. (Can she not read an x-ray?) I told her 2x it was as they had taken xrays of in the office a few of days prior which they noted. However, she responded in such as nasty, condenscending tone. I figured she's not the one for me. No way. Anyway, I went on to make the appt. from the ER, but later on I thought about it and simply canceled the appt. because of her attitude. Like who does she THINK she really is? Seriously, like bring your tone down a bit, Missy. Dentists come a dime a dozen. So I called my former Dentist and traveled up to his office and he began the work I needed. I find most Dental practices in the Burlington Twsp/Willingboro area have lousy practices and need to step up their professionalism.

Disappointing Experience - We Will Not Be Returning…read more I'm writing to let you know that I will not be returning, and neither will my daughter. For me, customer service is everything. The poor experience started on our first visit. While I was in the bathroom, my daughter was taken to the back. When I came out, I wanted to check on her, so I asked a staff member walking by (unfortunately, I didn't get her name). Her response was rude and dismissive--asking if my daughter was over 18. I told her, "I don't care if my daughter is 28 or 38, I'm still going to make sure she's okay." Her attitude was completely uncalled for. Fast forward to my own appointment and who ends up helping me? The same woman. While she was polite this time, her body language made me feel unwelcome. That sets the tone for any experience. Then, during my X-rays, I noticed she pulled gloves out of her shirt pocket. That is not sanitary. She put them on and started touching the computer. I asked her to change her gloves before handling any sterile items. She said she would, but also explained she has to keep touching the mouse between shots. Her solution? She put a glove over the mouse. Honestly, that didn't reassure me. Thankfully, the cleaning went smoothly. Dominic was great, friendly, professional, and made me feel at ease. But then I was brought to the front desk. There were five employees up there, and I stood waiting while two patients were helped. After they left, I was still standing there... being ignored. When I mentioned I had to leave to pick up my daughter, I was told someone was "working on my file." But my chart was visibly sitting there untouched. I said to call me later. When I missed the call and phoned back, I was placed on hold and no one picked up. This kind of service is unacceptable. I refuse to go to a place where the staff act like they don't want to be there, especially when they're supposed to be caring for me as a patient. Because of this, we will not be returning.

Strap in because this is gonna be a long one. I'll add my first review from Google here and then…read morethere is an update ! 'Don't waste your time with these people, they'll check out your mouth and tell you what's wrong but won't prescribe you any pain medication or antibiotics for a severe infection, knowing the referral they just gave you for surgery is months out. And on top of that, the referral will have no information on it so when you go to that appointment after the umpteenth amount of months you just waited, they tell you there's nothing they can do with the information given. Dealing with them has been nothing but a waste of time, money, and has caused nothing but pain and suffering.' Here's an update on my experience: Today, I had to call again to request a new referral be sent to the surgeon, as the previous one lacked the necessary information. The surgeon cannot legally proceed without clear documentation specifying what is being removed or repaired. During the call, I was immediately asked for my name--even though I am not a patient there and they should not have my personal information on file. It was clear the only way they had my name was from my previous review. From that point forward, the tone of the conversation shifted, and I was met with noticeable attitude. After being placed on hold, I was told that a referral had already been sent months ago. I acknowledged that, but explained that it was incomplete and unusable due to the lack of required details. In response, I was met with a dismissive attitude, including an audible huff. What I found most concerning was being told that we could simply write on the referral ourselves what needs to be surgically removed. This is not only highly unprofessional, but also raises serious legal and ethical concerns. I will be escalating this matter and seeking guidance on who to report this to, as this level of care is unacceptable. To add to the unprofessionalism, before ending the call, I was told, "thanks for the review," clearly referencing my previous feedback in a sarcastic manner. I hope this review is seen, as it reflects a deeply troubling experience that others should be aware of.

I used to come here quite often, and a few years ago when I discovered this place I gave it a…read more5-star review on Google. I'm going to update and retract my initial review. FIRST THOUGHTS When I first started coming here, the office was female-run. Female doctors and staff are super empathetic and trustworthy! They were so helpful. I had come to this dental office after another dentist (a male no less) was performing a malpractice procedure on my teeth to try and make himself extra money for his business. This was years ago when the economy was rough, and once again, if the economy is rough you can count on dental groups like these to go down hill rapidly! PARKING There is a very small parking lot. It's not paved. It's gravel. If it's full, the streets are big enough to do some street parking. OUTSIDE APPEARANCE From the outside it looks dingy and small, and when I first came here I was nervous because I have history with dentists being unfit to really care for my teeth. I think the orange colors they chose were trying to be welcoming, but it just does the opposite effect. It stands out like a sore thumb and it just looks so out of place in the middle of nowhere! INSIDE APPEARANCE It is a small location, the colors of the walls aren't warm or inviting at all. They just felt like a ticking time bomb. Honestly, my mom has similar paint colors in her house and she was super bored one day when she chose to paint them these colors. That's exactly the feeling I get from the color choices. There aren't many seats available in the waiting room, but I never waited too long to wait to begin with. STAFF The staff in the past were all female run, over time there have been more and more men. The nurses and doctors I got to know, were on their way out not long after. I never was treated by the same doctor more than twice. The females were more gentle, communicative, and understanding. The men are the problems! They want to man handle everything and tell me I have problems with my teeth when I don't. I go to get a second opinion elsewhere, and they don't see anything this place has pulled out of thin air! They definitely are running a shady business! I haven't been back in months because I moved out of state, and time and time again, when the economy isn't doing well, these so-called "professionals" will try to say you need some type of expensive procedure. For me, it's always them mentioning removing my very HEALTHY wisdom teeth. I've had these for over 8 years, no issues. My orthodontist has said my mouth has room for them, and I've never had an issue with them unless a dentist has done something to prod around and give me an issue! And they, and other male dentists before this group, have! Dentists makes around $3000 - $4000 per wisdom tooth extraction, that's a lot of money for a business in a hard economy. So of course they're going to try and trap people who think this is a necessary procedure. It's not. Do your research. Once I go to a new dentist and heal my teeth, low and behold nothing is wrong with them it's just dentists performing malpractice! OVERALL While this dental group WAS amazing in the past, I can't say the same anymore. Thankfully, I've moved out of state. This group just made me fear dentists all over again, and has added to my list of dentist offices who are willing to practice malpractice just to make ends meet in any economy.
