We had a great experience with LAPMS throughout those years. The teachers supported him through important milestones, including potty training, and we could see how much he learned and grew over time. He learned math, participated in science projects, and was always excited to share what he was learning at school. Most importantly, he genuinely loved going to LAPMS every day. We're very thankful to the teachers and staff for giving him such a positive experience during these important early years. We have a lot of good memories from his time there and would definitely recommend Learn and Play Montessori to other families.

The teachers in rooms 6 and 7 were great with ensuring she felt comfortable in the classrooms. Additionally, I could tell just from even a few days being there, she was starting to pick up social skills, discipline, and a great sense of routine with their day to day montessori lesson plans and their "jobs". The front desk staff and both directors (previous and current) were also wonderful and took the time to get to know us as a family. They always greet us with kindness and patience for all those questions we had! Thank you LAPMS!!

She had previously been in a home daycare, so we were a little anxious about how she would adjust to a new and much bigger environment. Thankfully, everything turned out wonderfully! The teachers in the toddler room were so kind, patient, and supportive, which made her transition very smooth. She also became potty trained fairly quickly after seeing the other children use the toilets independently, with lots of encouragement and help from her teachers. After transitioning to the preschooler room, she continued to have wonderful teachers who were caring and patient. The teachers, together with the director, Ms. July, were always there to help whenever we had questions or needed support. We also loved the activities at school, they were fun and engaging while helping her learn about numbers, phonics, the solar system, and so much more. As a bilingual family, we especially appreciated the bilingual environment. It allowed our daughter to feel comfortable expressing herself in either Mandarin or English, which was very important to us. And perhaps the most special part of her time at Empire was that she made her best friend there! Even after graduating from Empire, the two kids are still close and continue to get together for playdates We are very grateful for the wonderful teachers and staff at Empire for making our daughter's preschool experience such a positive one. I would definitely recommend Empire to any family considering a preschool for their little one!

Our older daughter was only there for about two months, but in that short time she genuinely thrived. When graduation came around, the staff made sure she was fully included in the ceremony, which says a lot about the culture of a school. Our younger daughter spent a full year in the 2s class, and while it's always hard to transition to school at that age, she truly enjoyed her time there. Her Mandarin improved drastically, and so much of that credit goes to Ms. Ying, Ms. Lisa, and Ms. Kari, who are warm, attentive, and genuinely care about each child. As a busy family, we also appreciated that Empire provides meals and plans so many fun activities throughout the year, including a petting zoo, bounce house, water play, holiday celebrations, and more. Ms. July, the director, is consistently responsive and communicative, and any time we had a question or concern, she was quick to get back to us. We're so grateful for the community Empire built around our girls. Highly recommend!

We are so thankful to the entire daycare for giving our son such an incredible foundation during his formative years. We loved their Montessori approach; treating kids with love and respect. I didn't even realize how quickly he got potty trained! In the preschool class, they also focus on reading, writing, maths, etc. in a very practical and fun way. He absolutely loves going to school more than staying home and actually gets upset if I pick him up early. That says everything about how much he enjoys it! We especially appreciate all the teachers, notably Ms. Louise, whom my son absolutely adores and respects. The caring staff made potty training seamless, and the school provides breakfast, lunch, and evening snacks, which is super convenient. He's thriving -- confident, independent, and excited about learning every day. He recently cleared private school kindergarten assessment with ease, showing just how strong the foundation they've built here really is. Highly recommend this school to every parent!

Our daughter has grown up here, and as she moves over to the kindergarten side, we are genuinely sad to say "see you later" to the preschool staff who have loved and cared for her so well. From day one, we have felt incredibly lucky to have found such a warm, welcoming community. The teachers and staff are not only professional and attentive, they are truly kind, patient, and invested in each child. Our daughter is always excited to go to school, which says everything to me as a parent. One of the things we love most is how family-centered the school is. They do such a great job of bringing everyone together with fun, meaningful events throughout the year, some of our favorites: - The Hawaiian Back-to-School Dinner - Popsicles with POP, where the kids can worship, play, and of course enjoy popsicles - The fall festival - A beautiful Nativity during the holidays - Vacation Bible School (VBS) in the summer These events have helped us build real connections with other families and made the school feel like an extension of our home. We are so grateful for the love, care, and support our daughter has received here. If you're looking for a preschool where your child will be nurtured, encouraged, and excited to learn, and where your whole family will feel welcome, I highly recommend POP!

What stood out to me immediately was how warm, clean, and genuinely caring the environment felt. The transition was honestly hardest on me--as a new mom, it was difficult to let go and trust others, especially while still learning about toddler behavior. There was a biting phase early on, which I didn't realize is normal at this age (and eventually my boys went through it too). I almost pulled them out, but instead of making me feel judged, the staff handled it thoughtfully and proactively by moving them into a smaller toddler classroom. That made a huge difference. Since then, I've been incredibly happy. The teachers are truly amazing--you can tell they genuinely love and care for the kids, which is not an easy job. My boys are learning so much and are engaged in a variety of activities like arts and crafts, music, outdoor play, and holiday celebrations. They've also developed a great routine (and somehow nap better there than they do at home!). As a single mom with limited support, KinderCare has made my life so much easier. The team is accommodating, supportive, and makes me feel welcomed--like family. I'm really grateful we found this place.

With distance learning going on almost everywhere else last year, I was happy to have my son be able attend in-person kindergarten. The classroom was capped at 12 students. His teacher is the best. During the months the school was closed early during the pandemic, my kids would walk around the house pretending to go to school. My youngest son started in the Toddlers (1's) class and transitioned over to the Preschool six months ago and is thriving in his new classroom. He seems to be picking everything up really quickly and talks way too much now. He loves coming home and singing and talking about his teachers and friends.
