We recently hosted our son's birthday party at Delta Theatre in Brentwood and had such a great experience. Management was incredibly accommodating and guided us through the whole process, which made everything feel easy and seamless. Their birthday package was also very reasonably priced compared to other local options. Our son had an amazing time, and several of the other parents commented on how smooth everything was and how beautiful the theater is. LOVED this theatre! Sound was perfect. Beautiful building and so comfortable! Reclining seats (not all, so check chart) with tables with cup holders. Nice concession stand with upscale hot dogs, pizza, nachos, corn dogs, etc. Fresh popcorn with real butter that was delicious! Wine and beer. Food and drink is not cheap but I'm willing to pay it to keep this nostalgic theatre (built in 1938!) in business! So charming vs. the crowded larger theatres. Real butter or artificial on your popcorn? A question I have never been asked before but I love and appreciate the options! I love supporting local businesses so coming here compared to the AMC was nice. Cute, small theater in the downtown area. Only 2 theater rooms so seating and showings are pretty limited. We went to the theater on the left side where unfortunately not all the seats reclined :/ this was the only disappointment. Partly our fault for getting tickets just a few hours before the movie but still a little uncomfortable as the reclining seats are only the back 2-3 rows. The front rows closest to the screen are regular seats and I feel like this is where you need to recline to most since my neck was hurting from trying to look up at the screen the whole time. My recommendation is to book early so you can have more comfort! Overall though, 10/10 experience!! Price was also unbeatable at $9 on a Saturday afternoon!! read more

Great old theater with a modern twist. Having grown up in the area, I remember this theater from my time as a kid. My parents remember it from when they were kids as well. To see new life breathed into it is amazing. I recently saw a Saturday Matinee movie with my daughter and we had a great time. We ordered the deluxe nachos and it's a hefty serving! The platter must have weighed a few pounds, very filling for two. They have plenty of other drinks and food items and goodies to try. Prices are comparable and not crazy. We were in theater #2 which has an elevated section. Not all the seats are powered recliners. But you can see this when you pick your seats on the website. Theater #1 seems to have very few of the recliner chairs. That being said I did test the regular chairs and there were comfy. They have cup holders and a fold up middle arm, which turns two seats into a bench style. Which would be nice for cuddling on a date movie. The sound system is very loud and strong. But not deafening. The screen is super sharp and high definition. My only slight gripe is the green Exit sign. I feel it would be better if it was red (or dimmed) during the show. It did cast a light in the corner of the screen. Overall it was a great experience and I highly recommend it. The location is fantastic as you can walk to or from great local restaurants. Or have a few drinks before or after at the local bars/pub. We really enjoyed the theater and look forward to coming back. read more

Saw Inside Out 2 at The Delta with the family and the newly remodeled theater is nice. The recliner seats have two buttons that recline and put the feet up. There is more control on the AMC recliners but the seats were very comfy and plenty of room in the aisles. I would recommend row D in the 2nd theater. It's perfect level with the screen and the seats recline all in that row. The bathroom were remodeled which is great because the old bathroom was a closet The beginning of the movie started with a 15 minute infomercial on the city of Brentwood and how nice it's here and what Brentwood is known for. The food is cheaper than AMC for sure and it's $2 to refill your icee or popcorn read more

This theater has some very shady business practices. One of the theaters has a busted speaker and it makes the movie sound as if it's being mumbled through a tin can. There is no warning beforehand, no sign posted, nothing. My family and I tried to see the new Superman today and within ten minutes we realized we wouldn't be able to watch it at this theater because the sound system was so bad you couldn't even tell what the characters were saying at one point. I went to talk to the manager about it to ask what was going on and he made it clear he was aware of the speaker being broken. When I asked why people buying tickets were not warned beforehand (and why there was no sign posted) he made an excuse about how any warning would supposedly be "too confusing" to people, which makes zero sense. Obviously they're hoping that people will just deal with it, suffer through the bad sound quality, and not call them on it. They're not warning people because they don't want their profits cut into and would rather steal from people who paid nearly $200.00 for a good movie-going experience than do the morally correct thing. Anytime I mentioned that it was only fair to warn people, I was met with attitude and indifference as if I was annoying them by stating the obvious that it's only fair to give people what they paid for or otherwise warn them if it's not a matter that can be easily remedied (like a blown speaker). The teenage girl I talked to the second time around refused to give us our money back and only gave us free movie passes which doesn't do us any good when their sound system is shot in one of the only two screens they have! So if we try to go back to see Superman again and it's still playing in the busted speaker theatre, then that doesn't do us any good, now does it? Not okay guys, not okay at all. This whole thing was extremely shady on your end. At least have the decency to admit what you did wasn't okay when called on it and give people their actual money back. Edit (7/16/25): I tried to warn people about this on a community FB page because the owner still isn't doing the right thing by letting people know the speaker is busted. I was repeatedly belittled and harassed by a woman who is the mom of an employee and her friend. Apparently, if you even try to alert people this is going on, the attack dogs come out. This just keeps getting more and more outrageous by the day. read more

This little theater is amazing! We hadn't gone before the renovations, so our experience was solely with the updates. The have delicious popcorn and have the option for real butter. They have standard sweet treats, drinks and a good selection of beer. There's two theaters and the seats are all leather and several rows have recliners. The theater is intimate with a nostalgic atmosphere that you don't get in the big name theaters. Their restrooms are clean and maintained. We checked out the newly renovated theatre! Love it! Just know Theatre 1 Seat F2 and F3 are right next to the door and that row doesn't recline while the E Row looks like it reclines and has little tables attached. I sat in F3 and it was too bad but just a heads up. Also they use a local Bay Area soda company for their fountain drinks which I loved! I'll try the Ginger Beer next time we go! It didn't look like there was a bad seat in the house so come on out and see for yourself. read more

I waited for over 2 years for them to open. I'm a true movie goer, sometimes 4 days a week. I realize this is a small theater but their choices of movie content is terrible. I find that I can only go to their establishment on rare occasions. They don't stay up with current showings. Sad, I was really opening to be able to go often. The theatre is aware that one of their speakers is blown out and they are not making customers aware. They also do not refund tickets after you become aware that you will be listening to dialogue that is full of static. This has been going on for weeks. The theatre has a lot of potential with comfortable seating, a retro feel, and a lot of options at the snack bar but unfortunately, their business practices have turned off a lot of people recently. First time visiting after COVID & remodeling. They did a good job in the remodeling. The staffing was helpful. I think if I'm not wrong you have to pre buy your tickets before entering the theater. I selected the lounge chairs for my sister and I & we enjoyed the movie. read more

Our school took a field trip to the Delta Theater to see the Wild Robot. They had so much fun! The staff was so easy to work with and made our experience wonderful. Last Sunday my husband and I went to see Downton Abbey. When it ended I could not walk at all. I have a knee that needs surgery and it cramped so badly I could not put any pressure on it, and couldn't walkout all. A very nice woman loaned me her wheelchair to get to the front door. The manager let me sit in his chair until my husband brought the car around. However, I couldn't get to the car either . So the two young men who were cleaning the theater asked if they could carry me!! They did and I was absolutely amazed.See we do still have great young people! I can't say enough good things about the redone theater and its staff!!! I hope they get a lot of consumers because you couldn't go a better place, more upscale theater and also support downtown. read more

I LOVE this theatre. I went to go see Sinners and has a marvelous time. I bought tons of food. (Pizza chicken strips and a mozzarella sticks) I had a beer on draft i think it was the "Hazy little thing" it was all around an amazing experience. It was a fun time and the neon is so cool! They have those cool modern dyson dryers. I personally really love this place. Its so wonderful that after the pandemic they brought back the movie magic of what downtown brentwood has to offer and its a "mom and pop" shop and not a giant plex like AMC. So no not every thing is perfect but its EXACTILY what a movie house should be. The downtown has so many drinks options and so many things to see and shop around. Love the location in downtown Brentwood, it's a great area and I'm glad a theatre opened. However it was a poor movie experience. The chairs are VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. I've been going to movies for 30 years and have never sat in such uncomfortable chairs. They make you hunch forward causing back discomfort. Extending the legs or "reclining" makes it even worse. Also during the previews the side lights repeatedly flickered like a strobe light, and the overhead starlights didn't just twinkle, they FLASHED on and off. Very distracting but thankfully they stayed off once the movie started. Didn't try the food but looked ok. Facilities were clean. read more
