The service was great, they take credit cards with chips, and the selection/prices were unbeatable. The interior is cozy and classic, with a large buffalo head perched above the bar. While bar service is only downstairs on slow nights, I highly recommend sitting upstairs where there are several small tables with benches hanging from the wall. The tables overlook the bar area below. Contrary to a previous review, while the music and atmosphere can become loud on the weekends, we never had an issue hearing each other in conversation. They played great music throughout the night. Overall, cafe Bizon is highly highly recommended as one of my favorite bars visited throughout my travels. Great beer, great prices, great people, great music, great interior, and overall great time.

He reminded us of a combination of Neil Fak (from The Bear) and Lazlow (from What We Do in the Shadows). He was coordinating the line, seating, and gave outstanding recommendations, as well as praise, when we picked our wine. We were quoted about 45 minutes to wait, as they don't take reservations. A two-top opened up inside and Julian was concerned that it would be too hot, so he made me go inside to check first. Thankfully, it was right by the open area leading to outside, so we took it and were seated in about 20 minutes, rather than 45. The place was packed the entire time we were there; its reputation certainly precedes it. Good energy and beautifully decorated with stunning art inside. Carbonades a la Biere (beef stew; 19.45 Euros) is their speciality and was delicious! So reasonably priced for the flavor and te size of the dish! After Julian mentioned that the lamb is the best dish on the menu, there was no question that I was ordering it. Jarret d'Agneau Roti (Roasted Lamb Shank; 27.35 Euros) was so very good! Full of Rosemary and so tender! As Julian was running by, I quickly asked him: "Tiramisu or Tarte Tatin?" No hesitation, he replied, "Tarte Tatin." I wasn't sure if he actually put the order in for us or not, but then it arrived at our table and it was delicious! Pear Tarte (8.65 Euros) with a side of ice cream. Not too sweet, with lovely spices in the pears. Cash only, always a line, but totally worth it!

They've got so many offerings, quaint decor on every floor, various places to sit, including a rooftop. It's definitely a touristy thing to do but with over 2,000 beers to choose from, who cares? I loved every minute of it. It's crazy busy at times especially when live music events are taking place. We shared a Yard Stick which were multiple beers (smaller taster sizes). They're known for having one of the biggest beer selections in the world, and you can literally spend hours just reading the menu. We ordered their famous beer flight that comes with 10 different types of beers. Each one was completely unique, different flavors, colors, and strengths. It was such a fun way to try a variety without committing to just one. Some were light and refreshing, others were strong and bold. I loved that every glass felt like a new experience. The service was great! The staff were friendly, welcoming, and made the whole experience even better. They also have a photobooth inside, which was such a fun surprise. Perfect spot to make memories with friends. If you're in Brussels and want the full Belgian beer experience, this spot is a must-visit. So worth it!

I'll keep it short, because I was very disappointed by this restaurant, as I was so looking forward…read moreto it. Why? 1) Because their website makes their hamburgers look succulent, 2) finally a different kind of restaurant in the EU quarter. What happened? With a couple of colleagues, we decided to go here for lunch. My colleagues ordered a chicken burger, a falafel burger and an Apple Jack. I went for the most expensive I think: the guacamole burger (22 euros!!!) so my expectations were high (for that price...). When our burgers arrived, we were impressed by the size and the look. However, here we go: - Fries were way too greasy, with no taste. The only taste we had was the taste of oil. - The meat was cooked as desired. However, the meat was just plain. - The bun was way too dry. - My guacamole? Not that much guacamole in it and the taste of the guacamole lacked that little kick of the guacamole. - My colleague's falafel burger was just huge and could not be considered as a burger, as she had to eat her falafel individually and in the end did not touch the bun. Some positive points that still gives it a 2 star? - They put some efforts to have a very neat decoration to create a nice atmosphere inside - The salad that comes with it is good, fresh and with a nice dressing But 22 euros for just enjoying the salad? That's not going to have me come back. Really too bad though, because the EU quarter needs some better options for lunch and if possible at reasonable prices. Requirements that this restaurant doesn't meet.

I didn't like that we had to pay 2 more euros for the gluten free bread, the food was pretty fast, the tables were too close to each other, the plate too big and the prices a little bit too expensive for the experience (22€ for the Jack Daniels burger +2€ for the bread) So if you want a burger and you're in the neighborhood why not but I don't think I'll go back.
