I don't know if animals sense when they are finally being released from their pain, but I believe with my whole heart that Sheldon did. Dr. Esposito and his assistant were genuinely caring and compassionate from the moment they walked into our home. Sheldon's passing was exactly what we wanted for him -- gentle and without suffering, and the in-home service made an unbearable day much more bearable. We are forever grateful. Midtown has nice kennels, treat the dogs well and have a nice outdoor area. I also like that they are right next door to a 24x7 veterinary clinic in case of an emergency. They also let the groomers from next door work with your dog during his/her stay. Love that! It is great to be able to pick your dog up on a Sunday. Others like to charge you for an extra night. But, more importantly, why put your dog through staying an additional night? They do not nickel and dime you to death like one of the others in town. The other charges to give your dog treats, walks, etc. No thank you to the additional charges. Just treat my dog well! This is, in my opinion, the best in Granbury.

Luna was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism in June of 2025 and now takes medication twice daily. If left at home with her sister cats she would not get her medication due to hiding when the caretaker entered the house. We booked a two week stay at the Scratching Post while we traveled. I thought she would hide her whole time at the Inn, but to our surprise it was the opposite. During our daily updates we learned after the first 2 days of being shy she opened up to the staff. She enjoyed spending time with them, petting, scratches and followed them around, the word velcro kitty was used one day. She was very well taken care of during her stay. She is already scheduled for another stay at the Inn.

I would not hesitate to take her back. I highly recommend them. They only take care of cats so I felt that was a much less stressful situation instead of leaving them next to dogs. Even the rooms they keep them in are so much better than cages you see at other places. No cages here! They have little townhomes, standard suite or deluxe suite. I chose standard since I didn't think she needed the bigger room since it was just her. They also update you with pics and how their day went. If you can't tell I was incredibly pleased with this place.

They razor burn my girl so bad in her private parts, that she ended up with an infection. So after paying $80 for grooming, I had $300 in vet bills. Sorry but y'all shouldn't be in business nor allowed to groom dog. Thank God I found a new groomer that cares so much about my girl and does razor burn her. Today was a total desister after dropping him off at 8am, I receive a call at 2pm that my dogs out of control and to come get him ASAP. So I go get him and Mandy the owner comes out and starts raising her voice at me about my dog destroying her property. And I owe them a $100 for a kennel door he bent up. I paid them the $100 but will not be back. And this couple even has a German Short Hair pointer and know how they or and there disposition and temperament. It's sad to have to find another dog groomer after a year. Too much tension there, groomers must have change or there over worked
