The first was our first house purchase ever, so we were certainly apprehensive approaching the situation. Jamie had worked with a family member numerous times and came highly recommended, and he certainly lived up to that reputation. I really appreciated Jamie's cautious hand in our dealings; he was never over bearing when it came to offering advice about a potential house or price, but he was always there when we had questions. We likely saw 30 houses, and each one was approached in a calm and methodical way by Jamie or one of his team members (all of whom were excellent as well). The second experience with Jamie was in 2021 when the housing market was basically going nuclear. Not only did we need to get our house ready to move, but we had to trust what Jamie told us when it came to taking that potential payoff and applying it to the next home. Most people don't read long reviews but here is a breakdown of my experience for those who like detail. Home search- Susan was almost psychic when it came to finding homes that matched my search criteria. I was trying to monitor the market with the Zillow app and nearly every single house I found interesting, Susan had already brought to my attention. Zillow is not as current as Susan and when things are selling after being on the market 1 day, you need someone like Susan who knows the minute something comes available. The offer- Susan's negotiation skills are second to none. Within two hours of submitting my offer, she finalized negotiations that put me in the house I wanted for less than market value. The inspection process- This can be the most stressful part of any home purchase. Many realtors will bail on you the minute you sign the purchase agreement, but not Susan. Susan coordinated every inspection on my behalf and made time to be present at the home with the inspectors so I didn't need to take off work. All inspections find issues with the home and Susan assisted with getting follow up inspections completed to get more detail behind the issues identified. At the end of the day, I felt that Susan's top concern was making sure that I felt comfortable with the home purchase, not closing the deal so she could move on to the next person. Closing the deal- Susan coordinated everything with my lender and was able to get the home closed almost a month earlier than anyone had expected. It was almost magical how she was able to pull everything together but I never once felt like I was being rushed. Move in date- Since moving into my new home, Susan has followed up on several occasions just to touch base and make sure things are going well. She remains a trusted market expert and friend to this day. If I ever decide to sell my home, you better believe I will be calling Susan to sell my current home and help me find a new one.
