My kid was the one whose nerves almost kept them from going on stage that first year and now, age 8, they are not only doing competition dance but also has the confidence and courage to be apart of a musical. It's truly incredible the work Miss Siri does to build up character and confidence in these dancers starting from a young age. On top of that, GLAD has become like a second family for my child. As someone who grew up in the dance world, I know how important these friendships are. I am so GLAD that we found this studio as I know my child is developing lifelong friendships. I started dancing when a friend took me to 301 for late night swing in the fall of 2016. I always…read morethought I was a terrible dancer, but with help from many wonderful people there I have improved immensely. I've even gone on to learn other kinds of dancing (salsa, irish, blues, bachata) with the confidence I got from attending late night swing. While I have never taken a lesson from Cindy or Terry, I have frequented late night swing every Thursday since that night and have met so many wonderful people there that have changed my life.
