Rating: 5/5 Stars - A rarity for me
TLDR:
** Family-owned co-working space that genuinely puts the big chains like WeWork to shame
** Shawn, Emma, and Lexi are friendly, professional, and always willing to help
** Handmade furniture, wood theme, tons of natural light, and real personality throughout the space
** Amenities: massage chair, mini gym, shower, sauna, coffee machine, premium tea, and a soda machine
** Free daily snacks (chips, fruit, bars) that rotate every day
** 7 meeting spaces ranging from intimate pods to a full training room, all with solid tech setups
** Booking is easy: use their app or just ask one of the staff members
** Only downside: no Sacramento location (yet??? )
I haven't written a Yelp review in years. But I'm on my way out of this area, I commute here every day, and I genuinely can't gatekeep anymore.
As a medical student deep in board prep, I've spent a lot of time in co-working spaces. I've tried the big chains, WeWork included, and nothing has matched what The Daily Desk offers. This place has something most co-working spaces simply cannot manufacture: a real sense of community.
The space has personality. The wood-themed decor with handmade furniture and doors gives it a warmth that feels deliberate rather than corporate, and natural light comes in from every direction. It's clean, easy to park at, and the kind of place you actually look forward to coming into. They also have two spaces in the building. I've only been to one, but if the second is anything like this, I'm sure it holds up.
The community itself is one of the best parts. You'll find a genuine mix of people from all different backgrounds, and it's common to see members bringing clients in for meetings. I'd do the same without hesitation. Shawn, the owner, along with Emma and Lexi, are consistently friendly, professional, and easy to work with. Every interaction has been a good one.
Now for the amenities, because there are a lot:

This is where The Daily Desk really delivers. There are meeting spaces ranging from smaller focused rooms to large ones (50 people?) for presentations and conferences. Every room is well-equipped with tech. Everyone I've brought here or shown around has been impressed without fail.

Great for focused calls or smaller sessions when you don't need a full conference room.

Sweet baby Jesus the massage chair. As a chronically stressed med student, this alone is worth it. I use it all the time and wish I could take it home with me.

Does the job. Nothing fancy, but it's there when you need it.
*** S H O W E R & S A U N A ***
A real bonus after a long study session or a workout.
*** C O F F E E, T E A & S O D A ***
Premium tea and a coffee machine I use daily. The soda machine is a nice extra.

Chips, fruit, a variety of bars, and they rotate every day. A small touch that goes a long way.
Booking is simple: use their app or just ask one of the staff members and they'll sort you out. They also have rentable dedicated desks, and when I eventually need a private office somewhere down the line, this is the kind of setup I'd want.
I wish I found this place sooner. The only thing I can genuinely complain about is that there's no Sacramento location, which is where I'm headed. That's less of a criticism and more of a sign of how much I've enjoyed my time here. I doubt they'll even see this review, but my short time at The Daily Desk has been so good I just had to say something.
If you're in Fairfield and need a co-working space with actual character and community, this is the move.
No, I'm not getting paid or sponsored or anything to review this place. I just love it so much that I felt the need to let everyone else know. read more
