I enjoyed how easy it was to follow along and how you shifted focus across the body so after 45 minutes, you really felt the difference. Don't be fooled - this is hard! I have been biking most of the summer and had previously practiced yoga and neither could prepare me for the workout my muscles were going to get at PB! The Wexford studio is spacious and very chic. The lobby area has an open floor plan and allows for free movement of students coming in and out of class. There is a variety of workout clothing and PB apparel and bottled water for purchase. The instructors give new students a quick tour of the facilities and PB provides all of the equipment you'll need for class (ball, mat, weights, and tension tubes). The class is 60 minutes of focused muscle sculpting that will get you toned and strong in no time! Motivational music (read: pop/dance) is pumped into the room as the instructor takes you through the movements. I found myself having to take a few breaks...which never happened in yoga! I seriously had a hard time walking out of there tonight but feel great! I know I'll be sore tomorrow but will be returning to PB as soon as I can!

As an instructor, she not only expects my full effort but is also patient, accommodating, and kind. Her style of teaching brings out the best of my abilities while allowing for adjustments when necessary, and I always leave Betty Jo's classes feeling refreshed and energized. The instructors are kind of like friendly drill sergeants, guiding you through each movement and telling you that you can do it. It's a lot about repetition and light weight for a more toned result. I've definitely felt sore the next day. I will say I think there's a difference in the class depending on who you get as an instructor and what you're doing during the workout. The first class I went to was incredibly challenging and was pouring sweat by the end of it, but the other, while challenging, I barely broke a sweat. The workout room is very small. If there's more than 12 people in there it feels like you're bumping into others, which wasn't great. No shower at the facility, either. Barre probably won't be a go-to workout of mine, but I enjoyed it!

They were very attentive to showing us the correct way to work out, and were enthusiastic in their efforts to involve everyone. More than just a workout was provided - we had discussion on our diets over the week as well as stress reduction techniques to use while at work. Video links were provided to us to view at home and to encourage us to workout outside of the work workouts. Overall, I was very satisfied with Myofitness.

I have been trying to work out consistently everyday for the past month or so and wanted to try something different. I called Club Pilates a few days ago to inquire, and the receptionist was super sweet and was able to answer all my questions. I found out the first intro class was free so I thought, why not! I'll give it a go. My schedule is limited but the owner, Autumn, booked me for a 30 minute intro session on the day I had originally requested which was super convenient. When I arrived to Club Pilates, it was nice, clean, and quiet. No one was in the studio so the private session made the experience all the better. Autumn made me feel super comfortable and was so knowledgeable about everything! I ended up booking 4 more sessions after my first free one, and I am very excited. Autumn even texted me the next day to see how I was feeling. She is amazing. I love when clients are treated with genuine care and respect. It makes a client for life!
