Oof! This place is no joke. My body feels like it's on fire for daysssss after a [solidcore]…read moreworkout, but in a good, muscle building type of way. I will admit that this place is tricky to find the first time around. It's in the same shopping plaza as Whole Foods but it's in an adjacent building and the entrance is in the back. The class itself is slow yet fast-paced, which I guess is hard to describe. The instructor talks you through each movement and previews the next one while you're still finishing up the previous movement. There's a series of countdowns and movements, and while you can take a breather, the point is to work constantly through the 50-minute class. The machine that's used is like a gym Swiss Army knife. Just when I think I've done every possible thing on it, there's another new movement. There's probably 200 things you could do on there, maybe more. The ambiance is darker and kinda warm. But I'm definitely dripping sweat by the end every time and I'm always sore the next day, especially muscles that get little attention otherwise, like obliques and inner thigh muscles. Maddie, the studio manager, is very welcoming and accommodating and has been my favorite instructor so far. But all of the instructors have been good!

I LOVED the intro class with Allie. She took the time to explain the parts of the machine and would…read moreencourage us by name during the class. I was shaking after the workout...very intense and challenging in the best ways. The studio design is really slick and industrial, which I prefer but not everyone's cup of tea. The only doc I have for [solidcore] is more for the ClassPass side of things. The classes are an insane amount of credits per class (most classes on CP are 2-5 and [solidcore] classes are 7-10 each). If the credit amount was lowered to be comparable to other pilates studios in the area and on the app, I think more people would come more often (and I would be able to come more frequently too)!

I would not recommend this location for anyone seeking mid to high-level exercise classes. This…read morestudio offers instructor lead fitness classes. The instructor I had was not a trained professional (in my opinion) - there was no guidance on correct/incorrect technique during the class. Additionally, the class did not have a set plan and seemed unplanned/unorganized. I rated this a 2 because the class was mainly a chat session for the ladies enrolled, I was unhappy with the fact that it seemed more about complaining/gossiping then focusing on fitness and proper technique to avoid injury. While they were friendly, I have a short amount of time to exercise and I don't want to stand around and chat. The studio area is clean and well lit. The one bathroom provided is poor quality and cluttered with stuff, it is the only place to change. You cannot work out here outside of scheduled class times.

There are a variety of different "types" of women that go there but I've never seen any obsessive gym buffs or muscle heads... And to me that's great, I don't want to feel like a whale next to Susie Super Fit! They offer a variety of classes 6 days a week! Usually 3 classes a day. Kettlebell is my favorite! I also do HIIT, RIPPED and a core/toning class. I'd definitely recommend taking fitness classes here!!!!!
