I just feel that not all disability is a disability, and that it may just be the way the world looks at it. Chapel Haven West was not a bad place, it's the medical system that I don't like. I may have some disagreements or even feel that they don't understand. I realize that it takes a certain kind of awareness to understand. I still learned a lot about my self. I felt pretty different. This is not an adult daycare this is a community of functioning adults that get the opportunity to make decisions to better their own lives. The structure of the entire organization is based with WE and US. This mentality of leadership and education allows for these students to learn real world, real life, tangible decision making qualities that are missed very often for others in their situations. I cannot express enough how enthralled I was to watch the interactions with the staff and the students. The care provided here is easily the best in the state and I highly recommend that anyone looking for educational services for any person with special needs, to stop by and talk to these incredible people!

This school is known to discriminate against students, especially their special education students and families. The staff is poorly trained and they're constantly trying to replace teachers who either quit or get fired. Their test scores are abysmal and sadly, they don't prioritize students. It's a negative, mean and cruel environment for kids to spend years in. Avoid at all costs.

The main belief is that you can only take classes…read moreon this particular facility if you have base access and or if you're military/dependent ID holder. Wrong, anyone who wants to take classes here can actually do, whether you're a base ID holder or just a common citizen. All you have to do is provide them your information or whichever it is they needed from you. You can do all this and get some information at the welcome center at craycroft gate. The classes they have here are mostly nights which works out perfectly with your schedule. They also offer accelerated classes (classroom and online) ranging from 8-16 weeks class period. The professors i had so far are very well informed, nice; and class to teacher ratio is superb, which is a plus for me. This facility can also assure you that by the end of the day the car you left on the parking lot with the widows down will still be there ^_^ *awesomeness*

My son…read morehas been flourishing since he started first with music therapy and then with occupational therapy and speech. The staff and therapist s are very open and friendly. Progress is important and when possible, the staff works together to coordinate with each other. My son LOVES coming here and he looks forward to it every week there maybe a waiting list but if you get in it's really worth the wait!

Da Vinci Tree Academy is a great school to bring your kids to. I sent my eldest here and she…read moregraduated last year and managed to get into UHS thanks to the quality education the school has provided for our child. Our second child though transferred to Da Vinci Tree Academy from a TUSD school. I wish we had enrolled him at Da Vinci instead of a TUSD school because our son got bullied so much he would literally fight us every morning to go to school and would cry and complain when we picked him up from school, saying it's our fault he's even going to school. The TUSD administration were of no help and our complaints fell on deaf ears, so we decided to move to Da Vinci so our son can stay with her older sister. The first grade teacher back then was Ms. Hayde and she showed our son that not all teachers are alike and she brought our son's interest in learning back. For our third child, we straight up enrolled her at Da Vinci and her teacher Mr. Adam was the BOMB! My daughter is really super talkative and would often just ignore her school work to learn, but Mr. Adam had done some serious change in our daughter and she was so excited to learn and go to school. I can't explain how wonderful it is to be a part of the school because the teachers and staff are really caring and would go out of their way to know the students and their parents. I would often pick up our kids and you'd see how all the kids would just go up and hug the teachers before leaving the school, even if they are the front staff members. The students in the school aren't just a number, but family. We once went to a school fundraising event at Peter Piper Pizza and it's hilarious how all these kids from different grades would just greet each other and hang out and the staff would really be up there talking to us parents and it's so heartwarming for us parents that the school staff really be warm and kind even outside the school. I have two more kids waiting to attend Da Vinci.. I guess you can say all my kid are Da Vinci Tree Academy kids! :)

The employees are super knowledgeable especially when it comes to different yeast strains and flavors. What I like about this shop is if you are trying to make a clone of your favorite brew and they don't have it they will research it and put an ingredient kit together for you. Home brewing is not super difficult and they have starter kits ranging in price from $100 - $200 for the equipment. Price wise they are compare to Amazon.com and certain things like grains, sugars, cleaners, and stainless steel equipment are priced significantly lower.
