That's not so much on trend I know. Hardly anyone uses a razor anymore. She just point cut it and the layers are pretty heavy. They're not blended in very much at all. It needed at least texturizing shears if a razor wasn't in her skill set. It was cute when I left but once I got home and styled as normal my straightener revealed the blending issues. But it was cheap so no biggie. I can curl it or wear it up for awhile. Cute salon though if you're looking for something simple. EDIT: The manager reached out to me and offered me a recut. It looks so much better now! I should have just given them a call in the first place but I felt like since a week had gone by I had missed the window for a redo. No picture for the after unfortunately since I got caught in a massive downpour immediately after. But definitely so much better!

I am usually not too shy about cutting my hair to get rid of the unhealthy ends and she was not afraid to cut. I got a really nice cut where she thinned out the ends (it is pouffier and flairs out) as the top flattens from the weight, so my hair didn't look like the Liberty bell anymore. It also made it much easier to style. Thank you! Will be back.

We even measured the take off length by our fingers. We both agreed. She grabbed a handful of hair on the right side of my face & chopped it off ABOVE my earlobe! I stopped her right then but the damage was already done. I asked her why she did that & she said that wasn't too much & it would look beautiful when she finished. I said no! Just go ahead & make the back even. I told her to not touch the top that I would have to find someone that could try to blend or feather the rest of my hair. I was totally shocked by what she did. She said I didn't have to pay & she was glad that I was nice to her. I did get someone to help me & she did the best she could. I now need a wig. I wish I could report her.

I simply wanted an ash blonde highlight and she sent me home with this yellow hair. She told me to come back after a week to fix it for free. When I went back for her to fix it, she made me pay again. She played with my hair but nothing I can do since all the old Filipinas ganged me up. I could have called the police or my lawyer but I did not. In my mind I just forgave her and lift her up to God/Allah. Just a bad recommendation to people planning to go here. I feel so ridiculously taken advantage of and ripped off... I sat in my car and cried because I was…read moresupposed to get a haircut, color, and style today for my maternity photoshoot. I was given no consultation when I booked the appointment and when I showed up and showed the stylist what I wanted, she told me that she wouldn't be able to do it for the price I had booked because it was not a single process color, but a full highlight. Ok, it's an extra 10$, but ultimately that was fine. Except she then proceeded to tell me she wouldn't have time to give me the full highlight and could only give me a partial highlight. Very disappointing, but ultimately understandable. She THEN continued to tell me she would need to charge me an extra 25$ for toner. Omg, now this getting ridiculous. My natural hair isn't even that dark, it's a light brown. This cut hasn't even started and I'm already feeling like crap about it. I should've just asked for my money back and walked out after that, but I had my heart set on this look for my photos, so I just said it was fine. I sat in awkward silence in an extremely overcrowded salon for about an hour after that while she put in the highlights. This lady was so unfriendly she never even gave me her name, but I believe it was Melissa S based off the business photos. Overall, the completed look was pretty underwhelming and not really what I asked for, but I didn't hate it. I wanted layers and I can't really tell they're there, and the color doesn't really suit me and is totally off from what I asked for, but I didn't look horrible. I'm not much of a complainer so I just said it was fine once again. Then I started to realize I was really being ripped off when she started unbuttoning the cover after blow drying my hair. Um, excuse me? I asked her if she was just not going to style my hair, because it had been part of what I was paying for. She told me that blow drying my hair was the styling. Listen. This isn't my first time getting my haircut. Blow drying is not the same as styling. The package I purchased said, word for word, "One women's haircut, partial highlights, deep condition, blow-dry, and style." Blow drying my hair and leaving it completely straight is NOT what I paid for. I tried to argue this point and even showed her the wording but she kept insisting she "didn't have time" because her next customer would be there "I'm about 5 minutes." I felt so cheated and rushed out the door. She couldn't even take an extra 5 minutes to give my hair a quick little twist. I'm now stuck at home debating between having to go out and get it styled somewhere else and spend even more money or just calling off my maternity photos entirely. My hair looks so bland and lifeless, and I don't know how to curl it myself. I've never been so undervalued and disrespected, and to top it all off, I'm heartbroken that my photos won't turn out the way I wanted them to. Please avoid this place at all costs. They just want your money and to rush you out the door to get their next paycheck. What an awful experience. Pictures are of what I asked for vs what I got. I'm sure you can tell which is which. 110$ I'll never see again.

There are two styling rooms for both Daphne and Katie and it's airy and breezy and feels relaxed. Katie was busy so I chatted with Daphne (my first time meeting her) who was so chatty and friendly and welcoming that I immediately felt at home. They had some drinks and coffee and refreshments inside in case I wanted a snack and we easily chatted for a few minutes while Katie finished up with her other appointment. I had my usual, a cut and partial color (blonde highlights) and they're gorgeous. There is a nice bathroom space and a shampoo room with two shampoo stations.
