Good morning!! Long read but save yourself and AVOID this business! The WrapStars…read moreI have given this business the opportunity to resolve this matter but just wanted to put it out there so that no one else has to deal with this. The way I have been treated by this business is unprofessional its unacceptable. I have all the receipts which will be attached to this review.
I paid $450 for an agreed-upon service, encountered an undisclosed attempt to change that service, received poor-quality work, and am still waiting for a resolution more than a month later.
I gave The WrapStars multiple opportunities to make this right before posting this review. As of October 7, 2026, the issue remains unresolved. I am attaching photos and communications so others can see the workmanship and how this matter has been handled.
On August 25, I contacted The WrapStars about having my Bronco's windshield frame and side mirrors **wrapped in gloss-black vinyl**. John, the owner, recommended stopping by for an estimate. During that visit, his staff called him, and he quoted $450 for the frame and mirrors. I paid the full amount upfront. We scheduled the work for Thursday, and I was told it would take approximately an hour and a half while I waited.
When I arrived Thursday at 5:48 p.m., John told me he was waiting for Amazon to deliver mirror covers. **Mirror covers had never been discussed, quoted, or approved.** I had paid to have my mirrors wrapped and had been told the vinyl was in stock.
I later specifically told the employee working on my Bronco that I wanted the mirrors wrapped, as agreed--not fitted with Amazon covers. He confirmed they could wrap them and assured me he would not install covers without discussing it with me.
To me, this felt like a bait-and-switch: collect payment for one service, then introduce a different product after the customer has already paid, without first obtaining their approval.
The promised hour-and-a-half appointment stretched past 9:30 p.m. I watched the mirrors being wrapped and rewrapped multiple times. I remained patient and did not rush anyone. By the time they finished, it was dark, making the work difficult to inspect.
In daylight the next morning, the problems were obvious: cuts in the vinyl, jagged edges, and incomplete coverage on both the mirrors and windshield frame. The attached photos show the condition of the work.
I contacted the manager, sent pictures, and asked to have it corrected. He assured me they would make it right. During our phone conversation, he also told me John had ordered "high-performance" mirror covers and that the Amazon covers were intended as a temporary solution. **None of that had been communicated to me before I paid or arrived for the appointment.**
While I was explaining my concerns, I could hear John yelling and using profanity in the background, complaining that he was out $140 and had made time for me. The business had offered the appointment and told me I could wait. Asking for the service I purchased and acceptable workmanship should not result in that kind of response from the owner.
I requested a refund for the mirror portion and offered to absorb the cost of the windshield frame despite its defects. Instead, over Labor Day weekend, I was told the replacement covers would be rush-shipped and arrive in approximately five days. Although covers were not what I originally wanted, I accepted that proposed solution in an effort to get this resolved.
Those five days have turned into more than a month. On October 6, I followed up again. The manager said he was heading into the office and would provide an update. As of October 7, I have received no update, no replacement covers, and no refund.
This review is about more than disappointing workmanship. It is about changing the proposed service without prior approval, an owner responding to a complaint with yelling and profanity, and repeated promises that have not produced a resolution.
I paid in full and gave this business time and opportunities to correct its work. I am still left with defective vinyl on my Bronco and an unresolved $450 purchase. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend The WrapStars.
I wouldn't recommend going there, and sure having someone speak to me directly or in the background the way this business owner did wasn't on my bingo card for 2026. So now I have this hack job on my bronco (pics attached) and will end up having to peel it off and be out the $450 for a service that I did not recieve
