I ordered samosas as an appetizer and curried goat for my main (comes with rice), and a side of garlic naan. The samosas were quite nice with traditional spices and a tamarind and mint chutney for dipping. The goat curry was also quite good with a good portion of meat. The naan bread was also quite good and a good accompaniment to the curry. All in all, quite a nice dining experience. I would recommend.

My wife and kids brought me here for my birthday and I was so thankful they did... A fairly modest venue in size but beautiful decor and very warm and welcoming atmosphere Right down to the gold coloured cutlery and the folding of the napkins... Small details that really bring everything together... The food was absolutely delicious with my family starting on the appetizer sampler which was a great start to the meal and some of the best fish I've ever had in my entire life! my wife and kids ordered the butter chicken which has a fun name on the menu and I went with the chicken tikka masala which was filled with juicy, delicious chicken and a beautiful ruby coloured full flavoured gravy which I sopped up with a side of garlic naan bread, poppadoms and a beautifully scented basmati rice as a side that I washed down with a cold Heineken for myself and the kids getting mango lassi's... We would've loved to try dessert but we were so full we could barely move... Such a great meal and a great finish to the day! We will definitely be back and thank you so much to the chefs and weight staff at Buddha! Zeke

The new location in West Five is excellent, with a modern, luxury hotel like, and clean interior that greets you as you walk in. The staff and service are always friendly and the food comes out fresh, hot and quick. I also appreciate their gesture in giving their customers hot towels as they wrap up their meals. This restaurant is especially known for their onion bhaji appetizer, I agree with the other reviews in that it is a must-get when here. My favourite dish, meanwhile, is their butter chicken here - you can't go wrong with it here. The sauce is very flavourful and adds a lot to the butter chicken. Be sure to make a reservation if coming here during peak hours and especially on weekends/holidays - you will have to wait for a long time otherwise, as the restaurant is not the largest in terms of size. Other than that, this is my go-to Indian restaurant in town, and I think it's pretty close to what you might expect from GTA Indian food. 5/5 will do.

What luck when my daughter suggested it! ;-) thanks Honey!! Inside is nice and warm, with a few booths and several tables, and an Indian decor. Perusing the menu, I found several items that appealed to me, and ended up ordering vegetarian samosas, Seekh Kebab (a lamb dish they came with rice), naan bread, and a mango lasee. Hubby got a vegetarian dish today hat had a mildly sweet sauce, and DD ordered a shrimp dish that comes covered in a coconut sauce. This was delicious! For the record, I would go back! Next time I would like to order one of the dinner specials, ie: dinner for 2, 3, or 4. And by the way, I was too full for desert! I wanted Gulab Jaman... but never got the chance to even ask about it! Ahh well, something left for next visit.

Looking at their menu, I really struggled to pick a single thing to order - everything sounded so good. I went with a basic butter chicken with garlic naan order. This was incredibly creamy and buttery, the perfect comfort food. I also got the meat samosas which I truly believe are the best samosas I have ever had. Absolutely stuffed with lamb and had incredible flavor. I wanted to venture with some Indo-Chinese as well, ordering the mango chicken. This was not a good dish in my opinion. The sweetness was way too much and the texture of the chicken was mushy. My only complaint overall was this dish, I feel like it fails in a lot of ways. I will not let this dim the meal as a whole though; everything else was incredible. Definitely check this spot out, the inside was small and they were very busy with dine-in and takeout orders, so plan ahead for a wait!
