I never heard from her again. I called her back the next day, and left a message, but received no further replies by phone or email. The unprofessionalism was striking. I would actually have preferred no response at all to my initial email. As it was, I thought that I had found a realtor, and essentially wasted a day waiting for a call back that never came, time that I could have used to find another realtor. Why Meg could not have simply sent an email saying, "sorry, but I'm not accepting new clients at this time" is hard to understand.

At one, we met Tom. He was super knowledgeable about the house and entire area, but the house wasn't right for us. We got back in touch with him and told him about some homes we were interested in seeing. He quickly set up appointments at all of them, and spent pretty much the whole day with us on Thanksgiving weekend, though I know he had company visiting. We told him we'd go to one of the houses that afternoon, as they had an open house that day. I thought it was a waste of time when I saw he had us going privately to that house. We saw about half a dozen houses that day, of all types in all sorts of neighborhoods. Tom did a wonderful job ferreting out what was important to us-he's a great listener! At the end of the day, he took us back to that Open House we'd mentioned-it was just ending, and he encouraged us to take another look. Both my husband and I knew definitively during our 2nd look that it was the perfect house for us. It turned out to be absolutely fortuitous that we had seen it earlier. After brief consultation, Tom submitted our offer that day, and helped us negotiate over the next day. We ended up with just what we wanted, and feel his knowledge was key in achieving that. I was unfortunate enough to work with Pepine while buying a property and had a terrible experience. I thought I was unlucky with the agent and decided to give them a second chance so when I decided to rent my property, and looked for them to manage it. The first manager was a grumpy lady that treats you ok before you sign a contract with them. As soon as she had the contract signed your life turns into a nightmare. You will be ripped off with fees that come out of nowhere, get a terrible management service, have an unresponsive crew both via email or phone (yes - they will just ignore you), and the list goes on. I thought again the problem was with that specific manager, but later on a new manager and broker came on board, and things improved for one month or two, just to get way worse right after that. I cannot advise you enough to run away from this company. Pick a cousin, sibling, or a Pakistani freelancer online to manage your property, and they will definitely do a better job than this company. For example, as per today's date, I am begging for them to send me one document (a lease), and they've been ignoring me for 4 months but still charging me (and sometimes double charging me a management fee). Pepine won't forget to charge you an arm and a leg to manage your property or sell your house, but for sure this is the only thing they will care about. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!
