Update: After posting my review, the owner reached out to me personally. In her initial message,…read moreshe offered to refund part of my purchase if I removed my reviews. I declined because I believe reviews should reflect honest customer experiences, not be exchanged for compensation. After I explained my concerns in more detail, she listened to my feedback, said she would discuss it with her staff, and later issued me a partial refund anyway. While I appreciate that she took the time to respond and that she refunded part of my purchase, my overall concerns about the pricing, value, and customer service experience remain the same. I really wanted to love Lemon & Lavender because they have a beautiful store and a unique concept, but I left feeling genuinely shocked by the pricing. I purchased a spray bottle ($9.99) and a small jar ($2.99) to fill with products. The spray bottle was only filled about halfway, and the jar was also only about halfway full. The refills alone came to approximately $50-55. I also purchased beeswax wraps for $29.99. Even after using a coupon, my total was still close to $75. I didn't say anything at checkout because I was honestly so surprised by the total. I recently moved here from California, where the cost of living is significantly higher, and even I found these prices difficult to justify. For this area, the cost per ounce simply doesn't feel economical. I was also disappointed to learn they don't offer any military or veteran discount. Having come from a community with one of the Navy's aviation commands, I was accustomed to local businesses supporting service members and veterans whenever possible. While I understand every business sets its own policies, it was something I noticed. Overall, the products may be high quality, but the pricing makes it difficult for the average family, service member, or veteran to shop there regularly. Unfortunately, I don't see it being a budget-friendly option for most people.

As a person that throws a lot of events that are culinary related, this place is amazing. If I need…read moreanything serving, eating, or drinking related in bulk, this is my first stop. It can be a little intimidating at first with the signage about "membership". But anyone and everyone is welcome. I have not bought any food items here. But I would like to test it out next time I have a big get together. I also haven't gotten a lot of the cooking items they have. But I am in awe of the cool things they have. As a person who likes to cook, I could spend a pretty penny in here. But as a homeowner with a small kitchen, that will have to wait. The people have always been friendly and check out has been quick. I have zero complaints and enjoy my visits here.

I witnessed him disrespecting, cursing and berating a lady and her family. We can hope that the SYSCO Restaurant Depot merger helps with the insensitive employees that run that place. Marcus followed the guests outside and started laughing with some of the other employees. Not a good look Restaurant Depot! Please hire management and employees that hold up a standard that is expected to run a business.
