They really made the planning process very easy and straight-forward. We didn't encounter any "gotchas" which speaks very highly of the authenticity of their character and the organization's values. To this day, people are still talking about how great of an experience it was at Moretz Mills on our special day. We plan to have many more events at Moretz Mills in the near future, as they are a first-class, top notch organization with professional and extremely polite staff. They truly made us feel like a part of their family. We definitely recommend Moretz Mills to anyone looking to host any type of event (large or small)...you will NOT be disappointed!

They were accommodating and helpful and made sure our special day was perfect. The venue is very clean; floors shine. Big prep kitchen; lots of space for caterer and their team. We booked the venue in March for an October wedding and the venue staff kept in touch with us. There was an event the night before our morning wedding and the venue was immaculate. We were impressed; no sign of the previous event. I recommend this venue for your event. Beautiful property with great owners! Enjoy!

The ambiance is fantastic, I love the low lights and intimate setting. I have never been on a night with live music but I've enjoyed the music that was playing on both occasions. The food is amazing. Many of the plates can be shared, so we ordered a variety each time. So far, I've had the pleasure of trying Fried Green Tomatoes, Fondant Cabbage, Yeast Rolls, Braised Short Rib, Birria and Grits, Smash Burgers, Wedge Salad, Churro Waffle, and Sweet Potato Hand Pie. I thoroughly enjoyed both meals, Chef knows what he's doing! I think my favorite dishes have been Smash Burgers, Braised Short Rib, Birria and Grits, Wedge Salad, and Fried Green Tomatoes. The Cocktails were reasonably priced and delicious as well. I recommend that everyone tries this great new addition to downtown!

The tasting is free and when you buy a bottle of wine, the money is donated to charity. The tasting room doesn't have much in it. No chairs, no view, so it's pretty basic. You come in, you taste and talk, and you leave. The man who did the tasting was friendly. He was very informative about the wines and the area. He gave us some good suggestions of places to eat and drink-very knowledgeable.

If your looking for a winery with a comfortable relaxing wine tasting bar, this isn't it. There are no chairs at the tasting bar but there are buffet style round tables with s tv that had on CNN news. ( great atmosphere, huh?)The gentleman who served us was a person that really needed some coaxing to tell us about the wines. All the people who run the winery are volunteers and work in short shifts in the tasting room. There is history here but I'll review our time here. Good points about this place: 1. Wines very from dry to semi-sweet and a couple dessert wines. 2. Wines are decent. 3. Tastings are free. 4. Bottles are only $8. We bought s bottle and sat on the covered patio with very old uncomfortable plastic chairs. You know the ones that after a while became weather worn and can't be cleaned. Nothing really to look at except a very small Vineyard and there is a bocce ball court. I'm not sure if they do any tours of the building where they do the brewing but it is on sight. Their grapes are brought in from Northern NY. I gave it 4 stars because of free tastings and cheap cost of bottle.

After researching local vendors for a catering event, my husband and I interviewed Travis and did a…read moretasting for a wedding reception with Travis. At the tasting, everything was prepared impeccably and on time. The food was hot, delicious, and catered to special dietary needs. We were so impressed with the quality and timeliness. We decided to enter into a contract for a substantial amount of money without any indication that the services and food we requested would be anything but on par. Much to our dismay, embarrassment and frustration, this was not the case. Travis was supposed to arrive to our venue one hour prior to the event. Approximately 10 minutes prior to that time, i received a text saying there was some unforeseen issues and our food would not arrive until an hour after the agreed upon time. 10 minutes after the hour delay and not hearing from him, I called. Mind you, we have no food, drink, nothing to give our guests. Who are all there and waiting. I called Travis to then learn, he was still in the process of PREPARING our meal and would need another 30-45 minutes to finish cooking. The venue is approximately 15 minutes travel time as well. I then instructed him to please, just bring whatever was ready as we were already waiting to just have something available for our wedding guests. Travis did not arrive until 2 hours after the agreed upon time. My guests had to help organize, set up, cut the prime rib loin, and serve the food because he did not even have the staff available he said would be there to help. The food was cold. Not just room temperature cold, but cold as if it had been sitting in a refrigerator. The prime rib was tough and unseasoned. The wings would have been great if they'd been labeled, with 4 different sauces it was hard to tell which was what flavor. All of the guests were confused as was I. The roasted veggies were so salty no one ate them. The lemonades and teas were all room temperature and served in plastic dispensers for a formal affair. I did not receive all of the food that was ordered including foods I specially ordered due to dietary restrictions. I have attempted to resolve these complaints with Kitchen Kreations and none of my concerns were addressed. An offer of a small reimbursement was made, but taxes and "fees" were supposedly taken out of the already very small suggestion for reimbursement. I have given Travis ample opportunity to correct this prior to this review and he's ignored all of my requests. I hate leaving reviews, I NEVER leave a bad review, but with his unwillingness to make this better, I am leaving a review and already communicated this to him prior to posting.
