I was here for a quick drink and nibbles over the weekend. The front area is a casual bar type seating, and as far as I know you can't reserve tables there, whereas the back is a restaurant with a great natural skylight over it. People seemed to be able to drink outside, at least when we were there in the early evening, but there is no dedicated area. I think this would be great to come with 3-4 people if coming to have a drink, otherwise book a table to eat, but you would struggle to get a table for much larger than that and I don't think it is a great place to be standing at the bar.
I had some of the bar snacks, starting with arancini with pesto mayonnaise, which was fantastic, and then the Cross Keys board, which was 10 pounds for a selection of cured meats, olives, chicken liver pate, and two slices of bread. I was less enthusiastic on the board. My friends got Aspen fries, which come with parmesan and truffle oil, but those didn't look quite as good as the thick cut chips that came by. There were a few actual meal size dishes on the bar menu, like a burger or a salad, but be wary that the burger are enormous and seem like they would be rather unwieldy... In any case this is a great neighborhood spot right by the water and the interiors are beautiful. read more
