I had to check the IRS website myself and call them just to get an update. On top of that, my return was almost not filed because they entered my Social Security number incorrectly. I also had them handle my late father's final 2025 return, and they got the banking information wrong, meaning the payment will now be late. Overall, an incredibly frustrating experience. I would not recommend them to anyone, ever--I can't believe they charge money for this level of service.
