I attended Chamberlain for my undergraduate degree back when they had the night/weekend BSN…read moreprogram. I had been trying to decide between Goldfarb and Chamberlain (I had been accepted by both), and because Chamberlain had such an exceptionally helpful/friendly admissions staff, I chose them. And I am SO GLAD that I did! My advisor was Angie and she was the most helpful, kind, friendly person and to have her as an advocate for my nursing schedule and program was beyond helpful. While I certainly had a few instructors that were not top-notch, overall the staff of clinical and lecture professors were terrific and very helpful in the ways that they taught. One of my very favorite things about this college is their organizational skills and the way that their system is set up to help students. Everything from the admissions to the very end when we graduated, was all very organized and well planned. They currently have a new dean (different from the one I had), but I have heard she is excellent (which makes all the difference). While I know this is a private school and is more expensive than other BSN programs, I have had much success as a nurse out in the field and I highly attribute it to my excellent education at Chamberlain.

This is the best nursing school in St. Louis, hands down! The faculty truly care about our success.read more

I missed CPR training at the school I work at due to a physical injury. When I contacted Jai-Jai…read moreat CPR-N-MORE to ask about private training with adaptations for my injury, she was quick to say she would adjust in any way I needed. She was not only professional in her training and knowledge, but during the training she kept checking to see if I was physically okay. She took the time to discuss with me ways that as I heal I would adjust my technique. I would recommend schools, youth groups, churches, synagogues, mosques, community centers, parks and recreation, youth sports teams, etc all get in touch with Jai-Jai and arrange for a class for your professional and volunteer staff.

I don't attend this university, but based on close friends who go here for med school, it is a…read moregreat university and I think that you get a quality education here! The campus is pretty open and there is a lot of space to walk around. Nice seating areas, too. There are a couple cafes on campus, such as Crave, and there is good parking on the surrounding streets (Theresa, in particular). It's a private university, so the programs are expensive, but it's hard to "rate" a school, because it's so subjective - if you are interested in learning about SLU SOM, you should go to another source and read about the national ranking, application process, tuition, etc.
