I am currently attending this school, First off I have been a professional truck driver with over 1 million miles of road time over a 10 year period prier to this, I was deployed to Iraq with the military and my CDL expired while I was overseas so I had to start all over again. This school is a complete waste of money, they teach almost nothing, most of it is the students teaching the other students, 7.5 hours of standing around and 30 minutes of driving. the Instructors are knowledgeable but the company has their hands tied most of the time. You will not even learn how to hook up a trailer or turn on your 4 ways when backing because it is not on the test! I have personally seen them pressure students to sign contracts for over $8000.00 when these guys could have this training waved due to their military experience. A lot of the students here are in some pretty bad financial difficulty and are looking to this to get into a good paying career and they use this against them when anybody speaks up about the lack of training and poor/unsafe conditions of the trucks. It's all sunshine and unicorns till you sign the contract and then your treated like a red headed step child. The equipment would not pass a DOT inspection EVER but the Missouri Hwy. Patrol Inspectors just look the other way!!! so much for leading by example!. I'm a lucky one, I actually went to a school who really taught me how to drive and handle a big truck, I really feel bad for these people who think they will get anything out of this school except the absolute bare minimum of training to pass the CDL exam after 3-4 tries! read more
