I moved to the public transit desert that is St Louis (County) from Chicago, where there are plenty…read moreof buses and trains; naturally I never felt any great need to learn how to drive. (It's a long story why I didn't in high school) My husband was great about taking me places, but we had to consider things like emergencies and what if he couldn't go? It took a couple years, but I screwed my courage to the sticking point and started calling schools. Naturally, I was concerned since I am quite a bit older than the average student and eliminated a couple places simply because they didn't seem to go outside the adolescent market. We decided to give Missouri Driving a try and completely lucked out! My instructor, Donna, was wonderfully patient with me and my nerves, encouraging when I faltered, and knew when to give me that last little push to get me into the testing facility. She was an excellent teacher and kept her cool when I goofed (unlike the hubby who near-panicked the one time and could only yell excitedly without explaining *why* until later. Which is why I got a professional to teach me). She focused a lot on what was required for the test, but was not limited to that alone. And here I am--finally a licensed driver! I know Donna covers a lot of West County and some of South County; I highly recommend asking for her if you live there.

He then continued to buzz around other cars in an offensive manner. I saw that it was a car displaying a sign for "Missouri Driving School". He was also making illegal lane changes (solid white lines). Thankfully there was no student in the car. Based on what I saw, this is not a school I would want to send my kids to learn to drive. He has no business teaching people how to drive.
