The staff vary in competance from reasonable to atrocious. Some of them find it hard to understand orders which are a little different from anything standard (such as a burger without gherkins) but theres usually someone more senior on hand to sort things out. The food itself is ok. To be honest, despite the fact that its surely uniform, I've eaten better food in other McDs. Most of the burgers seem to be dry and the breakfasts can be a little on the dubious side sometimes. Like I say, you pretty much know what you'll get in this kind of place, and this is no different. It does get stupidly busy in season and even on a standard non season lunchtime though.

I stumbled in here with two work colleagues on a bitterly cold sleepy Wednesday night. I confess mostly I was happy to get out of the cold but I was ultimately lured in by the Wednesday's Half Price Steak night. We were not disappointed. I'm not so bothered by décor as I'll take good food over posh wallpaper any day, but if it's your thang then this place is very nicely styled. We quickly skimmed over the excessively priced wine list, selected a discounted Happy Hour bottle of Malbec and headed straight to the decent choice of cut price steak list. Overall I can't begin to recommend highly enough: 1. The steak - probably one of the best I have ever had, so tender, melt in the mouth tasty and a total bargain £17.00 for their 300g petit chateau (that's the best cut from the middle of a fillet btw) 2. The amazing Guinness and Soya reduction. It was a tough call to divert my attention away from the amazingly sublime smokey peppercorn I'd chosen but I couldn't resist dipping into my colleagues more than a few times after the first taste! 3. The service. Superbly attentive, perhaps a little too keen but it was a quiet night 4, The Happy Hour half priced bottle of Malbec and bargain steaks. Yep I've got to give credit where it's due - this place is absolutely rocking it!…read more Ok so I love this neck of the woods anyway but this recent addition (4 months open) is a great option for coffee, ice cream, desserts and snacks - plus of course the waffles and pancakes which although I didn't get to try looked amazing and pretty cost effective at under a fiver each. We went for ice creams which were quality (so many choices - the Smarties one delighted my 2 year old daughter :-)) and I really want to return soon to get stuck into the waffles. Yes - I will be back, very very soon! *This area is a great setting to take a chilled family day out in - lovely park, lots of games for kids to play, slides and swings etc. Park down by the campsite for £2 all day parking.

Anyway.. I ordered ribs and my other half got a brisket salad.. I have to say they both tasted amazing, if you like sticky ribs then you have to go there.. I'll be going back for sure. It's probably the best place for food in bingley now.. taking over from the potting shed in my opinion.
