We've been hearing a buzz about this store for several months and finally made our way in to check it out yesterday. With the price of groceries lately we all are our bargain shopping and finding new ways to pinch pennies as much as possible. This store does take EBT/PEBT which was cool to know. We browsed a pretty large selection of home goods, frozen foods and dry goods. There were many many chest freezers full of food to look through. Most prices were listed on the outside of each one. Much of what is sold is close to or at their best buy dates but if you understand that these items still are useable and have a shelf life still you'll see the value that this store provides. My advice would be to follow their Facebook page to see what new products are coming in and any specials going on. All in all we enjoyed our visit, and only spent about $40 for our haul. We'll be back to shop very soon. read more

The back story to this business is there is indeed a "kid" who enjoyed extreme couponing. He was so clever at it that he had so much unused goods that he began selling them out of his mom's garage. Word got out about his sales and others began giving him their coupons. He became so popular he had a "garage sale' nearly everyday. It got way out of control so he rented this retail space. God bless America for free enterprise! His retail space is small and looks even smaller because of all the stock he carries. These days he's the man of the town and vendors come to him to sell their goods to him. His prices are incredible and he's stocked so much inventory that it spills out onto the sidewalk. He needs to be wise or he'll end up renting a larger space for more money. A word to the wise: please check all the expiration dates on everything. You'll find a fare bit of the food items are past their expiration date. read more

I am new to Florida and I can honestly say that I am at the Coupon Kid store at least once a week sometimes more if something comes in I didn't get in my weekly trip that I want to make sure I get before it is all out. I'm really happy with all the meat that has been coming in. When I can save a few dollars in this inflated economy I'm going to do it. I Buy the most I can then go the the grocers to fill in the blanks. Check it out you won't be sorry. Oops maybe I shouldn't say that, there will be less for me. I thought this place would be a great deal since there prices are so cheap but I should've known it was too good to be true. All this place has is mostly junk food and most if not all of it is expired my chips were stale and all crushed up and many other of the things I bough had 2018 dating!! I have been shopping here for years and have saved a lot. Yes, they have a lot of expired items (not for me), but I have purchased many items in date over the years (frozen manicotti, candy, goldfish snacks, snack bars, cheese, frozen fries and hash browns). I have saved more on non-perishable items (diapers, wipes, razers, Feminine Products, hair products and paper goods). I love when they have Disney items (my favorite travel kit came from there). It is fun to shop there. Also, they took amazing precautions during early covid days. They had toilet paper and alcohol when it was hard to find. Thank you, James. read more

This place was even worse than my lowest expectations. Almost everything was out of date and I'm talking months out of date. For example rice crispy treats were 6 months expired. Prepackaged baked goods were 3 months expired. Some frozen meat goods were nearly a year expired. I'm being generous when I say maybe 80% of everything is expired. How is this even legal? On top of it all a lot of this stuff can be found at other discount stores for the same price but in date. read more
