Good sandwiches C…read moreScott's Beer Wine & Deli in Walpole, MA, is a decent, middle-of-the-road choice for a quick lunch. On the positive side, the convenience of a dual liquor store and deli right on Route 1 is undeniable, and their made-to-order sandwiches--like the popular Buffalo Chicken Caesar wrap and the fresh chicken salad--are genuinely flavorful and hit the spot. However, the experience falls short of great because the convenience store atmosphere is entirely no-frills, meaning it is strictly a takeout operation with nowhere comfortable to sit and eat. Additionally, food service can occasionally lag during peak lunch rushes, and prices feel a bit steep once you add chips and a drink. It is a perfectly acceptable, functional spot to grab a bite if you're passing by or heading to a nearby game, but it might not be a place you go out of your way to visit. Thanks

It is one of the "modern" Cumberland farms, and it is big, spacious and well lit. It doesn't have the depressing vibe of an old school 7/11. Secondly, their gas prices are pretty reasonable, especially compared to the other gas stations in Walpole. It's not a bad option for filling up. Lastly, their Service staff are friendly and professional, and they do a nice job of keeping the shop clean and well maintained. The coffee is always fresh and hot; that's half the battle for me!

We would have filled up, but knew the gas was overpriced compared to other area stations. The pump was also out of receipt paper, so i had to go in to get a receipt, which took a while, as the cashier was just having a conversation and catching up with the customer at the front of the line, ignoring the fact that the line was getting longer and longer. I would not return, and I would absolutely recommend buying gas anywhere else.

The Cumberland Farms in Medfield center is a self serve gas station and connivence store located along Rt 109. The good: premium gas is among the cheapest you'll find in the area. Connivence store isn't overpriced, but not the best bargains you'll find. They keep the window washer / squeegee in their buckets, with liquid (you'd be surprised how many places don't). Trash buckets nicely placed, and sufficient parking. The bad: no mechanic, air pump (seriously, come on), or covered gas pumps (aka not rain friendly). Station can be somewhat difficult to get into / out of, depending on where you're going and coming from. Only self serve, and no diesel. Don't go out of your way to get here. Better option is driving up 27 a bit (toward Walpole) and trying the station there.

There are several iced coffee varieties that are also not available. The "make your own" coffee station is a messy disaster, and there is no sugar available. I asked one of the employees if they had any breakfast sandwiches that were just egg and cheese. She very nicely said she would look, and about 5 minutes later she said that the store wasn't opened correctly and unfortunately she doesn't have any. It just seems weird to me that you would tell a customer that the store wasn't opened correctly. Aside from this one nice (but stupid) female employee, all the other employees were behind the register restocking cigarettes, with their backs to the line of customers at the register. It took me over 10 minutes to check out with a single cup of coffee. Also, none of the grab and go ready to eat items are available. The entire shelf is empty. 3 stars because the bathrooms are clean.
