Part clothing boutique, part jewelry store, and part import shop, there is something for everyone here and in every price range. I found a great little gift for my daughter this Christmas, at under $20. They also had some gorgeous sweaters and other garments that were very fairly priced. We were also intrigued by their wonderfully scented, handmade soaps; local made jewelry and crafts; and even some of the larger furniture pieces they had for sale. The service was super friendly and helpful, too. I will definitely add this cute little eco-friendly shop to my La Conner rotation!

One particular item that caught my attention was her painted rocks with charming animals on them. I snagged the "pussy-n-boots" raccoon (not called that but if you've seen Shrek, those eyes are totally there, haha) rock. It's a nice smooth little boulder that makes these painted animals look really cute and pop. I may have to line my entire studio front's sidewalk with these things! We were greeted with mimosas upon arrival, and Catherine had already picked several items for both of us to try on. After combing through the store, I found that the biggest challenge was narrowing down my selection, because everything here is so stinking cute! It's clear that they do a lot of research on current trends. The 45 minute time a lot seemed to fly by, but I left the store with a bunch of new clothes that I love! Comparing prices from what I'm used to in Seattle, they're pretty reasonable, with a good sale section. I asked the staff how long they'd been around (a lot of the place looked really modern) and they kinda laughed; apparently, they've been around for nearly 50 years and are a family business. I know it sounds strange, but it made finding that really cute bracelet even more special.

There was literally something for everyone in here - men, women, kids, even pets. The selection of items was masterfully curated and included everything from clothing and shoes to books and kitchenware. I definitely see myself heading here next time I need a special gift for someone. (Or even for my own darned self!) The prices were, of course, a little higher due to the La Conner/tourist factor, but the quality of the items was high as well.
